    Hey there everybody!
    I figured I’d drop in to say there’s a good chance I won’t be dropping in much for a bit.

    See, there’s this new game “No Man’s Sky” and a new patch (from yesterday) fixed it up so it works on my computer (and anyone else who had an issue with their CPU related to SSE 4.1 and SSSE 3).
    And now I’m glued to it like white on rice.

    So… good to see ya’s, but I’mma play “NMS” a whole lot for awhile. :)

            Nah, opinion’s fine (hate him today…he even gave you permission ☺ ). I was just surprised by the 180 shift in outlook they went through, and he seems to really mean what he’s singing about in both videos.

      WTKS (Real Radio 104.1) here in Florida does a Sunday Morning set with that name (and opening with that song), featuring alternative country, old country, country rock, bluegrass country folk-rock, brunch, classic country rock-folk-bluegrass…(think John Prine mixed with…well, Prine mixes well with anything). It’s the fact that they’re a talk radio station throughout the week, and classic rock nights/weekends, that makes it interesting to me.
      I try not to miss it

    I’ve tried to submit a few news tips with the link above, but I keep getting a “submission blocked!” message. I’m logged in both on Alan.com and Disqus, and I don’t think I would have done anything to get me black listed… any advice?

    Format is like any other tag; “”, and closed out by repeating it with a “/” added before “spoiler”.
    Why we’d need it, I can’t imagine, but who knows; you lot are creative…

          u: Underlined text
          blockquote:

          separate the test as a quote

          spoiler: covers up the text
          strike: strikes through the text

          When you get to the end of the text you want these tags to affect, do the same thing, except put a / before the command
          This is the text affected.

              You forgot the whole first part of the tag. (I can edit comments, although I don’t, and you missed the whole hyperlink tag)

              Try this (don’t hit “Enter, don’t use spaces):
              type
              Type LINK
              type

              You should have one line of text.
              Now hit “Enter”
              Your link won’t be underlined,though. You can do that by pretending that it’s just text you want to underline, and enclosing the word “LINK” between the underline tags (u, /u) ; yes, it will be “inside” the a tags, but the a tag doesn’t care.

                  anytime it sees the a href tag, or even just a straight-up website typed in your post, the Disqus “engine” will make it a link and color it blue.
                  (In my” Okay, almost” post above, I didn’t set up a link to alan.com, I just typed the words alan.com, and alan.com appeared as a link)

      OK OLDFART, ya figured it out…I can’t yet…BUT HELL YES…this is the end of my first week of coaching middle school football…I can’t hardly walk…Getting old sucks…I am really enjoying connecting with my grandkid’s friends…they are a diverse lot, and really need an advocate while they adjust to their growth…I will give this one photo, for you to see, as I am still trying to navigate the legalities of photo’ing school kids…I am trying not to burst with pride, as my grandkid’s first time in pads, and wow, he is a natural running back…
