Trump Radioactive For Incumbent GOP Senators?
One would get that impression from an article in this morning’s NY Times:
Click here for reuse options!Senator Rob Portman of Ohio plans a very busy convention week as Republicans pour into his home state beginning Monday.
On two mornings, he will remodel houses in inner-city Cleveland with Habitat for Humanity. On Tuesday, he will kayak on the Cuyahoga River with wounded veterans. As the convention is gaveled to order on Monday afternoon, Mr. Portman, a Republican facing a tough re-election fight, will address hundreds of his campaign volunteers at a community college.
One place he will not speak, having addressed the past six Republican conventions, is inside Quicken Loans Arena, where Donald J. Trump will accept the nomination of the most divided national party of modern times.
Mr. Portman once looked forward to a convention in Cleveland that would turbocharge his re-election campaign. Now he joins other swing-state Republican senators who are shying away from the party gathering. They will be busily campaigning at home, running local races as if for sheriff, offering a split-screen view of a party that fears its Senate majority will be the collateral damage of a polarizing nominee.

His “silence” is deafening…the GOP’s silence is disturbing…A vote for a republican, is a vote for sedition…that much has been made clear, despite the Media’s complicity in this…

A little off topic but since the convention kicks off tonight Is there a definite list of who was invited and who isn’t showing up. I would imagine everyone has made up their mind by now. Maybe as a thriller post the reason they gave for the decision

The question that should be asked of every GOP running in November Do you support Trump, no dancing around the question, just yes or no
