Hillary Clinton’s email story continues to get harder and harder to believe

Things seem to be unravelling at a rather faster pace, huh?

Looks like another pregnant woman who is a non-citizen gave birth to a Zika infected baby today in Florida as reported in the UK Daily Mail. That makes the fourth one this year born in this country to non-citizens that us taxpayers will have to foot the bill for at an estimated 10 million dollars for the lifetime care of these children. It is time that all heavily pregnant non-citizen women be barred from entering our country.

    • 17 June 28th, 2016 at 17:16

Really? Are there any other criteria you’d like to use as justification for banning people, or is that the only disqualifier?

      • Ron Theison June 28th, 2016 at 18:50

So how many of these women are you prepared to let in so the taxpayers can pick up the tab? At what point will you (and people like you) finally say enough is enough, that we already have millions of people here who cannot make it without some sort of government help and that we shouldn’t keep letting people in who will only be a medical burden on society?

        • 17 June 28th, 2016 at 18:53

So you are adding to your list. That’s good. You and Donald can compare so there’s no overlap. Would you mind posting here your list of “those” people who you disapprove of? I wouldn’t want there to be any misunderstanding.

    • Mike June 28th, 2016 at 17:53

Lightly pregnant ones are OK though…???

      • Ron Theison June 28th, 2016 at 18:44

Provided they leave WAY before their due date.

    • cathyx June 28th, 2016 at 19:03

Why don’t we just set up disease testing stations at all the international airports. Make everyone who flies into the US goes through a thorough checkup to make sure everyone is clean before we release them. And not just check for Zika, we should test for any and all ailments that can cost the taxpayer money if they need treatment in the US.

      • 17 June 28th, 2016 at 19:08

Good idea, Cathy. And we can make Mexico pay for it!

A Woman Scorned – The Making of A Suicide & Sex Scandal In Oakland

In a new interview Celeste Guap, the young woman at the center of the Oakland PD sex scandal which has grown to involve over 30 employees of 6 police departments, reveals how it all began and her part in it. The revelations are a damning indictment of the character of Guap herself, as well as a disturbing look at police culture.

Why the British said no to Europe

John Pilger argues that the referendum result represents a deeper, more dynamic anger than the reasons rehearsed by politicians and the media and offers a glimpse of hope.

The majority vote by Britons to leave the European Union was an act of raw democracy. Millions of ordinary people refused to be bullied, intimidated and dismissed with open contempt by their presumed betters in the major parties, the leaders of the business and banking oligarchy and the media.

Clinton Democrats Claim To Support Health Care As A Right, But Oppose Universal Healthcare In Platform

Clinton Democrats favored a platform amendment that reinforced the idea that health care is a right but had no specific goals for how to fight for that right.

From Iraq to The Brexit Referendum: Tony Blair’s Toxic Legacy. Yes, He Should Stand Trial for War Crimes

It can only be hoped the Chilcot Inquiry’s findings deliver Charles Anthony Lynton Blair and his cohorts in a tragedy which will be his and George W. Bush’s place in history. A sharp and chilly return to reality.

Did Elizabeth Warren Just Go Full Establishment?

That’s right. The progressive darling of the Democratic party is supporting Clinton, who earns hundreds of thousands of dollars per speech to Goldman Sachs — the same Clinton who has taken millions of dollars from big banks.

    http://theantimedia.org/elizabeth-warren-full-establishment/

    • OldLefty June 29th, 2016 at 12:25

Then you should support her pledge to nominate judges who will overturn Citizen’s United.

      • 17 June 29th, 2016 at 12:35

Overturning Citizens United will do next to nothing to stop the corruption of money in our politics. There are still twelve ways to Sunday that bribery of our elected officials is legal.

        • OldLefty June 29th, 2016 at 12:47

So we should just give up.
(Why did Bernie not go for public funding?)
He and Hillary voted the same 93% of the time.

But actually, overturning Citizens United it’s the best start we have.
And actual bribery comes with a high burden of proof.

As Jess Unruh said, “If you can’t eat their food, drink their booze, take their money and then vote against them you’ve got no business being up here.”

    • whatthe46 June 29th, 2016 at 12:51

And tRump charges more than one mil. Clinton charges 100 – 200k. What’s your point?

      • 17 June 29th, 2016 at 13:42

I didn’t write the article, just as YOU didn’t read it. But since you’re asking my opinion, I’d have to say that the supposed champion of the little guy in the fight against Wall St. has named her price and Goldman-Sachs has agreed to pay it.

        • whatthe46 June 29th, 2016 at 13:44

          they didn’t have to.

    • oldfart June 29th, 2016 at 18:14

I found the article to be highly opinionated.
A few facts and clearly unsupportive of the nominee to be.
Above and beyond Hillary and Warren, it’s full of supposium, July isnt here yet.

      • 17 June 29th, 2016 at 19:42

The gist is: She who we thought was fighting for us, turns out to be nothing more than a sellout by supporting Wall St.’s darling candidate. There’s no “supposium” there. That’s now fact.

        • OldLefty June 29th, 2016 at 19:52

I suspect that would say the same about any candidate.
They would say the same about Bernie when he could not get his agenda through.
“From January 2007 to January 2009, Mrs. Clinton, representing New York, voted with Mr. Sanders about as often as she did with the like-minded Democrats Ron Wyden of Oregon and Barbara Mikulski of Maryland.”
          http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/28/upshot/the-senate-votes-that-divided-hillary-clinton-and-bernie-sanders.html?_r=1

        • oldfart June 29th, 2016 at 20:13

I disagree, I believe the gist is, I thought, (not we) Ms. Warren is just another politician who will always be willing to ride the coattails of another…they tend to do that sort of thing, no ?
I also dont like an echo chamber… ;)

What Does G4S Know About the Orlando Nightclub Massacre?

Much has been made in recent weeks of Omar Mateen’s background. The perpetrator of the Orlando, Fla., massacre was alternately a “radical Islamist,” a deeply closeted gay man, a wife abuser, a mental case, everybody’s best friend in high school and a loser. The list goes on. But what the mainstream media—and the government, for that matter—have not talked about is the fact that Mateen was employed at the time of his crime by G4S, a London-based company that is one of the largest mercenary firms in the world, with intelligence contractors deployed in war zones and hot spots around the globe.

Supreme Court Ruling is Admissible Evidence of Police State

American schoolchildren are taught that the Supreme Court is the ultimate check on government power. When the other branches of government get out of hand, the Supreme Court – somehow free from perverse incentives and filled with good will – will step in for the
common people. This fairytale designed to boost faith in government is overturned as the Supreme Court stands behind the prison state, yet again.
