Perkins: Trump changes positions ‘once they’re explained to him,’ hasn’t ‘thought through policies’

Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council is justifying Trump’s lack of understanding of issues and continued flip-flops in the most astounding way.

“I think that’s why there’s not people just rushing because he’s the GOP nominee,” Perkins said. “Look, as Evangelicals, Christians, Conservatives in this process, we not only want to have influence but we also have to be a witness to the truth. And, so part of that is, ‘Alright, let’s have a conversation about these issues. Maybe you didn’t think through them.’ And I give him the benefit of the doubt that as a businessman who’s been doing other things, he’s not thought through these policies, and that’s why you’ll see him from time to time change his positions once it’s been explained to him.”

so, these asses are supporting some of the common sense rules to a dip$hit they support to run this country. if Obama had campaigned this way, he would have been crucified.

Sounds similar to Orrin Hatch when he said, “Be nice to him. He’s a first-time candidate.” Be nice to him.”

You make excuses like this for a kid who flubs his part in the school play, not a candidate for leading the free world. And we all know he would not give Hillary a break concerning ANYTHING.

and they are NOT giving her a break even when there’s nothing to hound her about.

Amazing the pass they give this neanderthal but yet President Obama, which has been one of the best in my lifetime, is put under the microscope. And when they can’t find something to criticize him for, they make it up.
