Pat Robertson makes bizarre claim that gays and ‘Islamists’ are allies so ‘let them kill themselves’
Robertson said that liberals are facing a “dilemma” because they love both LGBT equality and Islamic extremism, and that it is better for conservatives like himself not to get involved but to instead just watch the two groups kill each other.
“The left is having a dilemma of major proportions and I think for those of us who disagree with some of their policies, the best thing to do is to sit on the sidelines and let them kill themselves,” he said.

we can blast him with facts……I don’t think posting like conservatives often do helps us very much. I hope we can show that we are better than them by using facts.
He seems past his sell-by date to me but Sarah Palin is the one for putting targets up with bullseyes on them.

I have heard conservatives make similar claims, many times. Especially conservative Christians.
The American Religious Right doesn’t want to admit that the Islamicists are also the Religious Right.
So they make this incredibly convoluted argument that radial Muslims are actually allies of us liberals. This would include feminists and gays.

EVERY TIME you make a desparaging remark about someone’s sexuality, about which bathroom they should use, when you compare a person to a child molester or a devient because of their sexuality – no matter what you feel your justification is, you’ve helped perpetuate this hatred
If you think the message /hate given by religions cant also cause this… Why bother following a religion? The whole point of religion is to influence you.
Your republican leaders are cowards who will tell you whatever your religious leaders tell them to say. Your religious leaders are not here to spiritually guide you, but to corrupt you and keep you both fearful to stay in line, and hopeful that you’ll get to an afterlife that doesn’t exist.
