Dog saves three lives by alerting family to fire
An Australian family was saved by their dog as a fire destroyed their home.
Bill Winter, 67, and his two adult children escaped the blaze, which started in the early hours of the morning at their two-storey home near Brisbane, on the west coast of Australia.
Mr Winter told 7 News Queensland their beagle Snoopy saved the day when the house’s fire alarms failed to go off.
“He barked and woke us up. We only just got out,” he said.

My life (and the life of most of my pets) was saved by a smoke detector.
But a smoke detector can’t meet you at the door, tail wagging, ready to lick your face…

Snoopy deserves to be kissed and hugged for days.
