The ONLY solution that we face as a nation, is to elect a Dem to the WH, and work hard to elect ALL the Dem candidates down ballot. Congress needs to be rid of the Goper Obstructionists, and the same goes for State Houses and Legislatures.
Even if the Dems had a Herculean candidate for President, that person would be stymied, like Obama has been so often.
While there are many Dems who are not liberal or progressive enough, there are virtually zero Gopers willing to actually govern responsibly in DC, and we can all see the disasters across the nation by the actions of Goper Governors.

This is what primaries are for — to debate our vision.
But we can’t let that keep us away from the polls next November.
…and you are absolutely right about state and local candidates.
Those guys and gals can have a bigger impact on your life, than the president.

It’s helpful to keep the author’s point in mind as we Democrats debate issues.
$12 vs. $15 minimum wage?
Which will get Republican support? Neither!
They want Americans to work for $2 an hour, like Mexicans, with no minimum wage.
