David Hirsch, a.k.a. Dave "Doctor" Gonzo*, is a renegade record producer, video producer, writer, reformed corporate shill, and still-registered lobbyist for non-one-percenter performing artists and musicians. He lives in a heavily fortified compound in one of Manhattan's less trendy neighborhoods.
* Hirsch is the third person to use the pseudonym, a not-so-veiled tribute to journalist and author Hunter S. Thompson, with the permission of his predecessors Gene Gaudette of American Politics Journal (currently webmaster and chief bottlewasher at Liberaland) and Stephen Meese at Smashmouth Politics.

The catholics would have done it first…but they weren’t invented yet

Reminds me of the ASU-UA game in 1988, when ASU fans chanted “PLO” at Steve Kerr. His father had been killed by Islamic militants while he was president of American University in Beirut. Actually, that one was worse, because it was personal. The ASU AD sent a letter of apology to Kerr.

Students who do this type of activity need to be held accountable. In college, you should know better. If they don’t, it is because they have been coddled and allowed to get away with it, the only way to begin to fix it is by making these spoiled brats pay for their actions with some sort of punishment like banning them from games for 1 year.

Didn’t you know — promoting bigotry in American schools is the “christian” thing to do.

In fairness, the school has denounced the behavior of their students.
Of course, the school officials might be just be doing CYA. I don’t know.
But I do know that conservative media and politicians have given people a green light for hate speech.

CandideThirtythree March 14th, 2016 at 13:14
Yea, that was just as bad but no one got mad about that.
tracey marie March 14th, 2016 at 13:16
Not really, sausage fest means guys…it is not racist or bioted.
CandideThirtythree March 14th, 2016 at 13:25

You should see the MU vs KU games…
It’s like the civil war was started all over again…

It’s amazing that they could get so passionate over a game involving a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds that were recruited from out of state.

I know…

I love NCAA basketball but completely understand your point. To me, it is like people who prove their “patriotism” with a flag pin, which is nothing more than a piece of costume jewelry manufactured in China.

Notre Dame is famous for their “underground alumni,” fans who never attended the school but love the teams. I knew a guy in the AF in Germany years ago who was so nuts about the Irish that I saw him sitting on the front steps of the dorm in tears. When I asked him what was wrong (I thought his mother had just died), he said between sobs, “I can’t get the Notre Dame game on the radio.” This was a grown man reacting like this.

When Trump and Ben Carson and Fox News argue against “political correctness” – this hate speech is what they are defending.

Where’s the article? All I get is a picture- no video, nothing. Have no idea what they were saying..
