      it is amazing how the ignorant critics of the President, confronted with the reality of a popular, successful President are reduced to idiotic taunts that most middle schoolers would find lame.

      The President’s approval rating is a direct result of his policies which you a$$holes assured us would end civilization as we know it.

      General Motors is alive and well, saving tens of thousands of jobs. Osama bin Laden is dead. Insurance companies can no longer cancel your coverage when you are sick with a major illness and are most in need of care. Gas prices and unemployment have both been reduced 50%

      The country is a great deal better off now than we were in January 2009, and if that somehow offends you, it is really too f*cking bad

    Indeed it is, Alan. It’s a superb number, a real day-brightener.
    By the 8th year of a presidency – just about any presidency – fatigue has set in and people are kind of tired of whoever is in office. A figure in the low 40s would be fine.
    Other than Superstar Bill Clinton, I can’t recall another president in my lifetime who left office after 8 years with an approval rating over 50%.
