        Is that the Homer one? I just seen him here with a brilliant comment about how the Clinton’s and Obama’s hate each other. I sometimes comment to those types, but I just showered and I don’t want to take another one after rummaging around with trash if I don’t have to.

          That’s true. We had a fun thread with one recently here. He didn’t stick around long but it turned out to be a good thread with some new people joining in with other conversations.

        I am not positive if this is what “old” means but it may be that some stories have a certain headline, but when you click on it there is only a picture or a different story. It is not a big deal, I (or anyone else like Larry) just google the title and bring the link back to the comment section.

          That’s when I put in the wrong link. On some stories the iFrames work better than others. Would you prefer to see just a link to the original story or a quick summation of it rather than the iFrames? The advantage of doing it the way it is now is that can get lots of content up quickly. I prefer aggregating content to writing about what’s already being written about elsewhere.

            I like the iFrames, I think sometimes problems occur. I don’t mind looking for the story myself and providing a link, however I don’t always know if that is the story you were wanting to use.

        Alan RE; the Klan Pac robo calls in the name of the trump campaign…high probability of being bogus…yesterday on the glen beck program….glenn went on a diatribe about the most famous african american slave during the 1776 revolution…Armistad …I am sure you know the story…but the tone of it (because you know glen beck is part of the hate radio bigot tribe) was he’s this good N word (with out actually saying the N word) that did his masters bidding…etc….followed by the “expose” on the “nationalist” (Klan) robo calls for trump….no glen beck calls his show “entertainment and elightenment” for racists I am sure…his dislclaimer for truth…so the first thing i have to ask is did ted cruz (that is who glenn beck is stumping for) in his desperation called random people in the name of trumps campaign (I am not trying to defend trump here) as an “election prank” ….I am wondering if you have the ability to find out if random voters were actually called and subjected to this racist diatribe and if in fact it was glenn beck supporters who set up the prank phone calls…that is randomly targeting voters with racist abuse….you know I don’t really support trump but I really doubt he would endorse nationalists calling people randomly….glenn beck made it understood/clear that no trump money went into the robo calls that they were from an independent pac…..my assertion is the “independent pac” was probably ted cruz, glenn beck, david duke etc) and that david duke is AGAIN (with glenn beck ted cruz) engaging in election fraud…do you have the ability to investigate that?….I think anyone calling people randomly subjecting them to racist diatribes…especially in the name of voter out reach (state speech and free speech are two different things) should be under the heading of election fraud ..which we know ted cruz has already engaged in….anyway thank-you for providing space to “spout off ” during election season…Cheers, Maggie

    I guess I get to complain here so here goes…so this week (last week) oregon legislature passed a bill about gun background checks ….but they left a loophole…that after a certain amount of time if a background check is not returned from the bureaucracy (3 days) gun shops and dealers can sell guns without the background check clearing…in other words the same as south carolina….this is after Gabby Giffords and a relative of a victim of the ame massacre testified that the gun shop owner and the fbi lied about dylan roof passing a background check…this is also with law makers knowing full well that sheriffs in certain counties across the nation…including this state have come out publicly in the papers saying that they will refuse to do background checks because they don’t have the funding…if you know oregon you can believe that is true…so what you have are anything goes laws…with absolutely no checks (thanks nra) because people know they can get guns without passing a background check as with the majority of the nation…(not to mention the black market) this is what they can do LEGALLY…the law makers basically did a lets move the food around on the plate and pretend we’re eating it….let’s pretend we are for gun control when we are not….this is why we need to take gun control to the supreme court and have these decisions taken out of the hands of elected officials….it doesn’t matter how many victims/victims families of gun violence testify in legislation…look Gabby Giffords should have some influence right ? nothing….elected officials feel vulnerable to voters and to lobbyists…by taking this to the supreme court where there are lifetime appointments gun control can be addressed by people who will not fear their jobs are on the line….Cheers, Maggie

    what I like is using you as a portal alan so I don’t have to remember sites that I might be interested in …I am like an absentminded professor…as you get older your brain takes only so much info…i go read other stuff and …I watch a lot of dogs ….surfing, snowboarding, body surfing in the snow…riding jet skis….I was a total sucker for the subaru ads….with the golden retrievers….that’s right folks you want people to watch your ads…put animals in them…and wild animals as well…

    As a firm believer in keeping tabs on the enemy, whilst listening to the local RWNJ radio station, he mentioned that FOX has lost, in his words, 50% of viewership as of January.
    again, in his words, it’s because of unfair bias in it’s reporting AKA bashing tRump and pushing the Rubester. As I do not watch FOX I cant confirm this but I find it both amusing and interesting all at the same time.
