if i thought the gop would vote for either ? there would be light at the end of the tunnel At this point we have to make sure another scalia doesn’t take the chair
I can believe it. But what’s said now is that she was already approved before so she’s halfway there and denying a woman and African American a hearing would cost them votes with both groups.
In view of the behavior of the GOP and that of their their acolytes would anyone really blame President Obama using his constitutional power to make a Recess appointment if they attempt to unreasonably block his nominee. He can do that now, up until the 23rd when the Senate sits again, at some other point during the year if Mitch allows the Senate to go into Recess again, though that’s unlikely, or after the 3rd of January 2016, regardless of who is elected to replace him when his term expires on 20 Jan 2016. A final finger to the GOP you might say ….
If the RWNJ’s saw a photo of what an actual JC with darker skin might have looked like and not the pasty white skin they’ve believed their entire lives, even he could not be the nominee.
Absolutely keep ginning up the fear and hate among these “Christians” with no actual facts about history. That’s the way to keep the money rolling in and keep your fake “Christian” candidates in the Congress.
That’s alright, we’re sure to gain many more secular humanists from this . Pretty much every stance these groups make results in fewer people claiming to belong to any religious group.

granpa.usthai February 19th, 2016 at 00:27
why not nominate William Jefferson Clinton?
that way, he would rat on the Repubs at the confirmation hearings – AND
use the hearings as FREE campaigning for POTUS2BHRC.

That’s a fun thought

Calling the “Family Research Council” pro-Christian is like calling a banker pro-money.

The Family Research Council is definitely pro-money.
