David Hirsch, a.k.a. Dave "Doctor" Gonzo*, is a renegade record producer, video producer, writer, reformed corporate shill, and still-registered lobbyist for non-one-percenter performing artists and musicians. He lives in a heavily fortified compound in one of Manhattan's less trendy neighborhoods.

* Hirsch is the third person to use the pseudonym, a not-so-veiled tribute to journalist and author Hunter S. Thompson, with the permission of his predecessors Gene Gaudette of American Politics Journal (currently webmaster and chief bottlewasher at Liberaland) and Stephen Meese at Smashmouth Politics.

Richard Dawkins is an admired and great rational thinker, who like all atheists marvels at the awesome world we live in whilst questioning the stupidity of superstitious dogma.
    Hope he gets well soon.

Obviously this is God’s vengeance upon Dawkins.
    Dawkins, whom He created.
Dawkins, whose life HE planned before mankind first drew breath.
Dawkins, whom He gave full freedom of choice to concerning faith, knowing that Dawkins would oppose the belief in His existence.

(Let somebody claim this; I darethem. I DOUBLE FUCK*NG DARE THEM! It would be the equivalent of raising a puppy, then smashing it with a sledgehammer for peeing on the rug.)

Whose life, and death, he planned, if you buy into that stuff. The true believers believe that our whole lives are mapped out, so it doesn’t matter what we do. That’s the complete opposite of free will.

And prayer goes against his great plan.

Your edit was correct. It’s whom.

Thanks. I know the “he/him” rule, but I get lost sometimes.

I wish him no ill will, I do not have a problem with his atheism, but I think he makes a piss-poor voice for atheism. Or maybe I just have little tolerance for pompous asses.

  6. Gina Bousquet February 14th, 2016 at 13:09

Wishing him well! Scalia, on the other hand, got the death penalty.

  7. Jeff Mellott February 14th, 2016 at 14:27

    Pray for him.
