U.N. rules Assange detention unlawful

A United Nations panel has officially ruled that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been unlawfully detained at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. Assange first sought asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy in 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden where he is wanted for questioning over sex allegations, which he denies.
