Beinart: Next Democratic Pres Will Be More Liberal Than Obama, Next Rep More Lib than Bush
The Atlantic‘s Peter Beinart talked to me on radio Wednesday night about how American is moving left.
Beinart also told me why he understands how Donald Trump was able to tap into the fear and passion of voters to make it to the top of the GOP field, why the Democratic Party is more to the left of President Obama since he took office (and is part of the reason Sen. Bernie Sanders is doing so well), and why Sen. Marco Rubio is the only Republican candidate who could successfully bring his party back to the center.
