Kerry Says Reject Pipeline

Posted by | November 6, 2015 11:30 | Filed under: Good News Politics

Secretary of State John Kerry says the Keystone Pipeline should be rejected.

[Kerry says] the controversial project is not in the country’s national security interest.

Kerry will meet with President Barack Obama this morning, after which the President is expected to speak to his top diplomat’s decision.

Kerry’s determination spells almost certain death for the massive project, a seven-year political fight that has pitted oil companies and Republicans against environmentalists.

This is true. There will be many OLD and out dated subjects that they try to revive ” IF ” they ever get back in. But in this case, Trans Canadian Dropped their application last week. Ten years ago, when this idea first came to light, Oil prices world wide were near astronomical. Now, with things that have changed in the middle east and our own increase in production, under Pres. Obama, I do believe the need for this pipeline has become obsolete. Therefore any new attempt at revival will be met with much distaste.

It seems official that Pres. Obama has Rejected the application for the Keystone Pipeline. This comes after the application was withdrawn by it’s promoters. This is a good thing. Although this might have been an economic, Good thing, sometimes common sense and concern have to out weight the commercial advantages. Yes, this would have been another system of energy supply to the world but the possible environment dangers were too great at this point in time. As time moves on, we will discover other means and needs for energy and this action by Pres. Obama, and the Canadian Promoters, will be seen as a Very Wise decision.

When this debacle started we were told that the pipeline would reduce our dependency on foreign oil and reduce gas prices.
As of right now we export more oil than we import, and in 41 states you can find a gallon of gas under 2 bucks a gallon.
    All this
    WITHOUT the pipeline
