Here’s What Happened When Paul Ryan Was Asked To Give Just One Republican Idea
After a tumultuous process that included an 11th-hour dropout and a protracted begging/negotiating session, Republicans finally have their new leader. Freshly-minted Speaker of the House Paul Ryan took a victory lap of Sunday shows this weekend, and the results were telling in several ways. The first is that Ryan essentially delivered four versions of what amounted to the same press release about the promise he made in order to secure his new position.
Last week, Ryan signed on to a letter agreeing not to pursue immigration reform for the remainder of the Obama presidency, unless such reform meets with the approval of the constituents of Alabama’s 5th congressional district. That pretty much rules out anything that doesn’t include moat monsters and a fleet of ED-209s. On Sunday, he was asked to square this agreement with his rhetoric about a new dayof gettin’ things done, and gave the same response each time…READ MORE

If you look at his hairline, lycanthrope does make sense.
In fact, a case can be made for all three.
Whichever, though, he is a horrible face to represent Janesville.

And if anyone thought Boehner was bad, Ryan’s a total tool of the baggers.

So far this year I have made 62,000 dollars with my computer and I am a full time student . I am attached with a business entity that outsource online jobs . I heard about it previous year and I have made a great cash . It is really user friendly and I am just so happy to have that opportunity …..

The House Freedom Caucus in general, and Mo Brooks in particular, are terrorists.

Sunday talk shows are useless. Have been for a long time.

Absolutely. It’s Republican TV. Once in a while on a Saturday night I check the listings for the next morning and it’s all GOP, all the time. There was one lone Democrat on something last weekend and it was Steny Hoyer. I didn’t have time to try to keep switching back and forth from a music channel and leave what I was doing to accomplish hearing his allowed five minutes.

good journalists keep the pressure on …while not putting words in the candidates mouth….they continue their line of questioning directly; insisting by demonstrating that citizens have a right to know what their government’s agenda and actions are….and they need to be held to account when their agenda is just avoiding being straight with the public about their agenda…
