Carson: ‘We’re Getting Closer’ To The End Of Days
Add end time believer to whatever else you already believe about Ben Carson.
Click here for reuse options!Carson made the comment in an interview with Sharyl Attkisson, when Attkisson asked for his “view on what’s happening around the globe and in the U.S., in terms of what’s in the Bible.”
“Do you think we’re at the End of Days?” Attkisson asked.
“You could guess that we are getting closer to that,” the retired neurosurgeon answered. “You do have people who have a belief system that sees this apocalyptic phenomenon occurring, and that they’re a part of it, and who would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons if they gain, possessing [sic] them.”

yeah it will happen about a week after that Romney landslide right wingers insisted was imminent in 2012.
rwgate October 12th, 2015 at 21:08
The problem with super religious believers in the end times is that giving one of them the nuclear football (as President) might tempt them to bring on the end times a little sooner.

Carson is right about one thing, it’s the ‘end of days’ for the stupid people and their silly beliefs based on non-sense and fear. Yes the world is changing and we are evolving, the old ways just don’t work anymore like they used to, it is ending and a new world based on science and understanding will actually be. ‘End of Days’, sure, bring it on. I am ready for intelligence to rule.
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 21:44
Didn’t that have some thing to do with the ending of the Dark Ages ?
Suzanne McFly October 12th, 2015 at 21:15
We are getting closer to the end of times just as we are getting further from the beginning of time. We have a life cycle just like everything else does, so he was correct. However, I believe the sun still has a few billion years to go before it dies so it really isn’t anything to worry about now.
The Original Just Me October 12th, 2015 at 21:21
Carson is Right On. We are getting closer to the end days, OF HIS CAMPAIGN .
whatthe46 October 12th, 2015 at 21:22
isn’t his cult ready to don some kind of robe and nike shoes about now?
Tommie October 12th, 2015 at 22:21
If so, keep an eye out for size 15, i could use a pair! Haha!
whatthe46 October 12th, 2015 at 22:32
… not gonna say another word.
Tommie October 12th, 2015 at 22:38
I know your question, Hahaha!
whatthe46 October 12th, 2015 at 22:53
i bet you do.
CandideThirtythree October 12th, 2015 at 23:36
hahaha
Tommie October 12th, 2015 at 23:41
Believe me i know, i even go to warehouses to find shoes and no luck, guess i should get a pre-paid credit card and shop online!
CandideThirtythree October 13th, 2015 at 00:14
That is what we had to do any even then the choice of styles is very limited. Even in the Army they had to make him wait for dress shoes because they didn’t have that size on hand.
They had the boots thank goodness and he wore them to tatters when he got out because they were comfortable…can you imagine that, boots the army giving you more comfortable than the ones you can buy in a store?
Everyone thought my dad had the same pair of shoes for 40 years but they were just all the same style out of a catalog that he had been using since he was in the marines. His were even worse because they had to be EEEEE wide, 5E, that was half as wide as they are long LOL.
Americans are big people, when are stores going to catch up?
Do you have trouble finding shirts with the sleeves long enough too?
Tommie October 13th, 2015 at 00:41
Yes, since i have long arms and legs which i was told is good for sports! You are right they need to make clothing and shoes for us big folks!
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 01:26
Americans are Big people. Have you tried sitting in the back seat of any car lately ? I have a couple of 1950 Chryslers and I enjoy just sitting in them remembering the olden days. Then I go back to my teenage years and I get different memories of the back seat, Damn, the new back seats are better than birth control.
CandideThirtythree October 13th, 2015 at 01:27
hahaha, I hear ya.
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 01:18
It’s about time he put some kind of clothes on and stop screwing with the people.
majii October 12th, 2015 at 21:28
Carson keeps saying this sh*t and after the MSM reports it, he wonders why he gets push-back and throws another anti-MSM temper tantrum. He is the ultimate BS-spewing panderer and attention wh*re.
Warman1138 October 12th, 2015 at 22:19
Every day is just another day that Carson provides more evidence……that he’s a far right wing pandering idiot.
Tommie October 12th, 2015 at 22:19
With your “speeches” one would think so, but we are not as paranoid as the right about changes to the country!
labman57 October 12th, 2015 at 23:18
Run for your lives! It’s gonna be a freakin’ zombie apocalypse!
Yet another reason why religious dogma and public policy make poor bedfellows … and why sanctimonious, theocracy-leaning politicians make poor legislators and Presidential candidates.
bpollen October 12th, 2015 at 23:39
“…we are getting closer to that…”
You mean that time passes? F*ck me, why did I never realize this before?
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 01:17
Actually, time only passes here on earth. If you get into space, time becomes the four dimension in determining a position in space. There does that help settle the brain like a Bromo Seltzer for the stomach ?
bpollen October 13th, 2015 at 02:37
According to some cosmological viewpoints, everything occurs at once and we just perceive the illusion of time. Obviously some people have too much simultaneous time on their hands…
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 02:55
If you think about it, the only real thing we know about time is the Earth revolving and the Earths orbit around the Sun. Those are our only markers of events passing. We try to apply these two events to everything else and these two events are totally earth bound.
Larry Schmitt October 13th, 2015 at 08:44
The whole concept of time was invented by men, as was the concept of god. So maybe neither one of them actually exists.
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 12:48
Time is the first and last concepts addressed in the Bible. In The Beginning and I am the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Larry Schmitt October 13th, 2015 at 13:09
And the bible was created by men. So the circle is complete.
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 22:21
Yup, King James rewrote the most popular version of the Bible and he wrote it the way he wanted it.
granpa.usthai October 13th, 2015 at 00:46
let’s do some pre K math here:
point A: beginning
point B: ending
leaving from point A and heading to point B, are we getting closer to point B?
jez, that’s a toughie, so I’m just gonna throw out a wild assumption –
we’re getting closer to the ending?
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 01:10
If you consider the space time continual of Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity, everything is on a curve. Therefore, There is no straight line path to follow. It will always, eventually, get there but in a round about way.
allison1050 October 13th, 2015 at 05:05
Didn’t anyone tell him that it happened last Wednesday?
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 21:47
That was Golf and Drinks day with Boehner wasn’t it ?

The end of days? That means it will be dark then. Just using the liberal interpretation, as the buy bull believers would do.
MBJR October 13th, 2015 at 09:17
End of days gun sale! Everything must go! Because everything will soon be gone!
(First 100 people get a free Bible)

Just saw this quote thought it was relevant.
Courage is… the knowledge of how to fear what ought to be feared and how not to fear what ought not to be feared.
Snick1946 October 13th, 2015 at 10:31
As a survivor of religious fundamentalism, one of my greatest fears is that so many Americans simply do not understand how dangerous someone like this can be. One day some Dominionist Christian is going to weasel his/her way into the oval office and launch WWIII. Just to force Jesus to return.
Dwendt44 October 13th, 2015 at 11:31
The problem is jesus isn’t coming back. He lied about that. And that is assuming he even said what some rag/tag follower said he said. That story was written ~70 years after the fact (supposed fact), who knows how accurate or IF the event even took place.
Snick1946 October 14th, 2015 at 10:41
I think I am being misunderstood. I do NOT believe in some physical return of Jesus. I actually doubt he even actually existed. Just clarifying.
The Original Just Me October 13th, 2015 at 21:55
In following the True story of Christ’ s Crucifixion and afterward, he did say and mean to return but not from the dead. He meant he would return after his healing trip to Kashmir, his childhood home. Only he did die while in Kashmir. That should start a fire storm.
Larry Schmitt October 13th, 2015 at 10:58
At least it’s the end of Carson’s days on the national scene. Here is an interesting opinion piece: https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/religion/ben-carson-its-time-to-tour-a-holocaust-museum-commentary/2015/10/12/e53d7702-711f-11e5-ba14-318f8e87a2fc_story.html

“You know, one of the signs that the second coming, is that the stars will fall out of the sky and land on Earth. To even write that means you don’t know what those things are. You have no concept of what the actual universe is. So everybody who tried to make proclamations about the physical universe based on Bible passages got the wrong answer.” ~ Neil deGrasse Tyson
