Planned Parenthood Exec: Fiorina’s Lies Will Lead To Her Downfall

Planned Parenthood Executive Vice President Dawn Laguens told me Friday night that Carly Fiorina’s doubling and tripling down on lies about alleged Planned Parenthood videos will lead to her “ultimate downfall.” She also responded to Marco Rubio’s statement that Planned Parenthood pushes women to get abortions so they can sell fetal parts.

COLMES: Let me just finish up by asking your about Carly Fiorina. As this has become a political football during this Presidential race, she’s out there continuing to claim that these videos are real, they’re accurate, that Planned Parenthood is doing this and in spite of having been shown otherwise, she continues to double, triple and quadruple down…

LAGUENS: Well I don’t think there’s unfortunately any other way to say it but Carly Fiorina is lying. And there are political reasons I believe that she continues, as you say, to double and triple down on this lie related to the nature of the Republican primary election. And that she really got so far out on a limb, that there is almost no way to crawl back. However, I think unfortunately for her, the facts are so against her, and so many people who have looked for this mystery tape that she is talking about, that purportedly shows Planned Parenthood doing things that Planned Parenthood does not do, that people across this country know Planned Parenthood does not do, she will probably end up falling off that limb and so I think this is going to be part of her ultimate downfall and that it will show a pattern of deception, certainly as it regards to Planned Parenthood…

COLMES: In addition to Carly Fiorina’s statements, Marco Rubio said recently, another Republican candidate for President that “Planned Parenthood pushes women to get abortions in order to make profit off the fetal tissue they sell as a result.”

LAGUENS: Some of this is so absurd you can’t even believe that you’re responding to it. 1 in 5 women in America would not come to Planned Parenthood, millions of patients each year if they did not find us to be one of the leading, most non-judgmental, non-pushy health care providers around, and of course it is completely absurd the charges that are being made, but again I can only contribute them to two things, politics and an absolute lack of knowledge of what actually happens at Planned Parenthood. I’ve been to literally hundreds of Planned Parenthood health centers around this country and see the amazing care and the amazing options put in front of women and the help that they are given to make their own decisions. Planned Parenthood trust women, Marco Rubio, Carly Fiorina, Jason Chaffetz, they do not.
