    ———————-

Oct 21, 2015 | For Immediate Release: Los
Angeles, CA (October 21, 2015) “It is with deep sadness and disbelief

over 45 years,” announced Danny Hutton of Three Dog Night. “Cory was an
incredible singer – a great performer, he could sing anything.” Wells,
one of the three lead singers of iconic American pop band Three Dog
Night, died unexpectedly yesterday in Dunkirk, NY. Wells had been with
Three Dog Night from the beginning and continued performing with the
band up until September of this year when he developed a problem with

Hey Donald a freaking wall won’t do squat this is why.

Major drug tunnel found on US-Mexico border in California

SAN DIEGO — Mexican authorities said Thursday they
seized about 10 tons of marijuana in an elaborate tunnel with a rail car
system that extended well into San Diego and was designed to smuggle
drugs into the U.S. from Tijuana.

The discovery on Wednesday marks one of the longest and more sophisticated clandestine tunnels found on the U.S.-Mexico border.

The passage was 9 feet deep and about 2,600 feet long — about
three-quarters of that distance in Tijuana and the rest in San Diego. It
was lit, ventilated and built with metal beams to prevent collapse.

      What climate change?

      • robert October 24th, 2015 at 16:24

Amazingly it didn’t cause any catastrophic damage Im doubting the winds were over 120 mph vs the weather reports saying Patricia was a category 5+

        • Kick Frenzy October 24th, 2015 at 18:01

Well, it pretty much just fell apart as soon as it hit land.
Until then, it was sustaining winds around 200mph.
And that’s not satellite approximation, that’s from flying into the eye of the hurricane and taking measurements at the source.

That being said, I could be wrong on the climate change.
Apparently they aren’t sure if climate change had any real influence on this.

depending on the mexican mountains height and width ? this would have broken the hurricane wind cycle but not its path.

im still in doubt about its approaching wind speed ( 200 mph + ) It would have completely destroyed everything prior to the mountains

When Naskrecki approached the imposing creature in the rainforest, it
would rub its hind legs against its abdomen. At first, the scientist
thought the behavior was “cute,” he said, but then he realized the
spider was sending out a cloud of hairs with microscopic barbs on them.
When these hairs get in the eyes or other mucous membranes, they are
“extremely painful and itchy,” and can stay there for days

she should have enough money to attend Harvard if she wanted to after this. and this pos is only put on adminstration leave. he should not only be fired but arrested for felony assault. this won’t stop until serious punishment is handed down. the pos. i would love for him to take that badge off and face her father.

      • robert October 26th, 2015 at 22:34

this school should hire escorts to all cops who enter and bill it to the local cops. Your right this is horrible behavior that needs to be delt with asap

    • StoneyCurtisll October 27th, 2015 at 10:04

      A female student no less…
And it appears that everyone in the classroom just hold their heads down cowering.

      • robert October 27th, 2015 at 22:40

its been reported she was talking on the phone during class but apparently phones are allowed in class or we wouldn’t see this video.

        go figure

      • Budda October 28th, 2015 at 10:13

I don’t like to second guess the police..or SRO. The girl apparently didn’t listen to ‘requests’ form her teacher, her principle, or the officer. Do we let the inmates run the asylum?

I know I will get some feed back…I’m ready.

        • whatthe46 October 28th, 2015 at 10:21

police are not above the law, and i do second guess them in quite a bit of situations. people have been killed or murdered, unarmed, even in the face of video evidence and some cops will still lie. unbeknownest to them. she may have a hard head, but, this he was totally out of line. if your child didn’t listen to you and this was you response and it was recorded, you can best believe you would have been paying a bond, hiring a lawyer and receive a visit from CPS. having a badge doesn’t give you the right to mistreat anyone, let alone a child. a parent has more rights over their child than some stranger.

          • Budda October 28th, 2015 at 10:39

Cops are not above the law…and nether are students/civilians

There are rules we must ALL obey..it’s the definition of civilized society. She didn’t follow those rules. There are consequences for not doing that. She escalated the situation to the point of being physically removed.

An aside; I don’t believe cell phones should be allowed in school.

            • whatthe46 October 28th, 2015 at 13:04

what he did was not civilized by any stretch of the imagination. it didn’t look like he was there for a moment before grabing her. ok lets go, then bam. if it takes 5 mins to talk to her, then it will take 5 mins. i’m certain you wouldn’t want someone man handling your daughter just because she was ignoring someone. she didn’t raise her hand or get violent in any manner. the fact that even his own department is not satisfied in how he handled the situation speaks volumes. because ususally they are aways on the side of their officer, even when faced with videos of a beating or a death. but, i never knew the consequences for not listening when you’re not endangering anyone, is to be thrown to the ground and drugged.

              • Budda October 28th, 2015 at 17:04

I am not condoning the officer actions; I’m saying the student brought this on herself. It took much more than 5 minutes of class time, time away from the other students, before it escalated to the SRO confrontation The teacher spoke to her, the principal spoke to her. How much time should be taken from teaching and the other students to deal with a disruptive student?
My daughters wouldn’t get in a situation like that because they know not to confront teachers and authority figures directly. And yes, this girl did. She insisted she didn’t do anything wrong so she was not going to co-operate. Same thing as believing you weren’t speeding so you don’t co-operate with the officer. Again, there are consequences to your actions. And you don’t determine those consequences, the officers does.
Ultimately who controls the class room…one student with an attitude or the teacher/staff?
I agree the handling of this 14 year old girl by a muscular male adult was excessive but damn, she had multiple chances to avoid it.

                • whatthe46 October 28th, 2015 at 17:13

she has a hard head i’ll give you that. but, i will never say she brought abuse upon herself when she didn’t physically assault anyone.

                  • Budda October 28th, 2015 at 18:39

But she did! That’s my whole point.

It wasn’t deserved, but by being ‘hard headed’ she got some unwanted results/consequences.

By the way, I don’t think SRO should handle student discipline problems, that’s the schools job.

                    • whatthe46 October 28th, 2015 at 19:22

i’m gonna cyber pop you in the back of the head. because you brought it upon yourself by working my last nerve. no one brings violence upon themselves because they refuse to do what you tell them to or not move fast enough or don’t answer their questions. men say the same damn thing when they beat their wives or girlfriends, she brought it upon herself. no they didn’t. and this child didn’t. no grown ass man should ever put his hands on a child let alone someone elses especially in the manner that he did.

            • Larry Schmitt October 31st, 2015 at 10:24

Totally agree about the cell phones. No reason a student needs it in class. They should all be left in the locker.

        • StoneyCurtisll October 28th, 2015 at 18:27

I think there are more appropriate ways to deal with an unruly female student..
They could have simply pushed her and her desk into the hallway..

The whole head lock and body slam seems so excessive..
Even the Sheriff thought so and fired the deputy today.

I’m not arguing with you, I just think there many better ways to deal with the situation than what happened.

        • tracey marie October 28th, 2015 at 18:39

She texted in class, violence is never the answer

      • tracey marie October 28th, 2015 at 18:39

her crime was texting in class and refusing to give up her phone. Adults need training on how to deal with defiant teens. Violence is not necessary or productive, that kid just had her distrust of adults and cops ingrained in her mind.

“A federal jury in Peoria, Ill., has awarded $240,000 to two Somalian-American Muslims who were fired from their jobs as truck drivers at Star Transport, an over-the-road trucking company, when they refused to transport alcohol because it violated their religious beliefs”

    http://www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/newsroom/release/10-22-15b.cfm

So if a gay couple orders a rum cake from a Muslim baker, the baker can refuse to provide it because it contains alcohol, and the gay couple will have no legal recourse.

Refuse to transport alcohol – get awarded $240K.
Refuse to bake a cake – get fined $135K.

If Muslim truck drivers can refuse to transport alcohol, then it follows that they can also refuse to transport pork products, pornography, mini skirts, and other products that are forbidden to Muslims. It would also follow that Muslim seamstresses can refuse to make alterations to ladies’ gowns that are too revealing. And it would also follow that a Muslim frame shop owner can refuse to frame a portrait of the prophet Mohammed, but they cannot refuse to frame a portrait of a gay couple.

So other people are legally required to create materials or provide services for a same-sex wedding, even if it violates their religious beliefs, but if the participants request baked ham and wine for the meal or wish to wear revealing gowns, these things can be refused on religious grounds. Your right to eat pork, drink a glass of wine, or show a little cleavage is NOT protected, but your right to have two plastic grooms placed on your cake IS protected.

Can a Muslim pilot refuse to fly a plane on which alcohol is served to passengers? Can a Muslim taxi driver refuse to transport someone who is carrying a bottle of wine? This is completely insane. The truck drivers should NOT have gotten an award. Nobody asked them to consume alcohol.

In order to maintain balance in the Force, I now submit a true story of my {idiocy/haplessness/bad luck}:
Riding back from work today, I had $58 worth of bills in my pocket. I knew this, because I had earlier folded them and shoved them deep in my pocket with my smokes(yes, I know, I know) so that I wouldn’t lose them.
    All fine and dandy.
Until we approached a “State Prisoners Working” sign.
Now, being familiar(ahem) with the day-to-day woes of incarceration, I thought “I could toss my half a pack to them…no, they probably won’t be able to get them”. Didn’t pull the half pack out of my pocket.
Then we got closer, and one of these guys looks at our van and does the two fingers to mouth sign meaning “Please? Cigarette?”, meaning that he could get away with it, or at least thought he could.
(You can see this coming, can’t you?)
So, I quickly reached in my left pants pocket with my right hand, grabbed the pack, and flung it roadward.
Felt funny, I thought, and then looked down to see money on the seat.
    Damn.
Pulled over half a mile later, and found that two twenties had apparently accompanied the 305 Full Flavor 100s that I had so selflessly offered to these poor roadworking souls.
    Again, damn.
But $40 is $40, so, we turn the van around, and my partner asks if they found the money when I threw that “empty pack”. Prisoner nods, and makes a “come here” gesture, then walks up to the cab of the truck they’re working from.
We 180, and pull up to it, as the prisoner hands the CO tightly folded money. CO gives it to me, saying “Can’t do that”, and we ride off before anything happens (nothing would have…the CO didn’t seem to care).
So I got my $20 dollars back.
    Wait. $20?

I cut my losses, and here’s hoping they at least got a $5 Lil Caesars out of it, because the CO KNEW what had happened, and there’s no way they could use a $20 dollar bill in prison (I,ummm, know people that have been to the facility that they HAD to be from (CFRC), and currency there is cigarettes, noodles, candy, or chow hall food).

Having shown you my own flawed action, I ask only that you young padewans reflect upon it, and consider your own actions in its light.
