Ted Cruz: If Elected President, I Will Introduce Iran’s Ayatollah To ’72 Virgins’

Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who is not a fan of the Iran nuclear deal made by the Obama Administration, declared that he will “rip to shreds” the agreement and then added this threat:

If the ayatollah doesn’t understand that, we may have to help introduce him to the 72 virgins.

In Islam, the concept of 72 virgins (houri) refers to an aspect of Jannah (Paradise). This concept is grounded in Qur’anic text which describes a sensual Paradise where believing men are rewarded after death by being wed to virgins….READ MORE at LiberalAmerica

    • Larry Schmitt September 25th, 2015 at 21:54

And they have a Prime Minister, and he couldn’t get elected to that either. They probably wouldn’t let him back across the border.

      • Suzanne McFly September 25th, 2015 at 22:04

Hell, if he ever leaves our borders we better not let him back in either.

  3. Suzanne McFly September 25th, 2015 at 21:32

Pretty sure he is counting himself as one of the virgins.

    • The Original Just Me September 25th, 2015 at 21:50

Well, I don’t think he qualifies. His Brain has been F**cked for quite awhile now.

It’s speech like that. that will get us hit hard like 911! Not saying the terrorist will not hit us or try but when you speak like Bush and not give peace a chance that gives them more incentive to try as hard as hell to attack us! IMO!

Ted Cruz will never be the leader of the free world, much less president of the United States of America

  6. The Original Just Me September 25th, 2015 at 21:47

I do believe this person just made ” Cruz ” and ” Crazy ” Synonyms.

    • Larry Schmitt September 25th, 2015 at 21:56

I think they already were in Esperanto, which he might as well be speaking, as much sense as he makes.

      • The Original Just Me September 25th, 2015 at 23:53

Cruz makes NO sense at all.

  7. arc99 September 25th, 2015 at 21:57

We have another 13 months or so before the election. Aside from the eventual nominee of the GOP, I am waiting to see if any of their low information voters will take the time to ask a follow up question to one of their red meat applause lines.

Someone needs to ask Sen. Cruz what the next step would be after the White House custodial staff sweeps up the shreds of paper. What do we do next? How many billions of dollars will it cost? How many men and women in uniform are you willing to sacrifice? What is your strategy if the government of Shiite Iraq takes the side of Shiite Iran against us? What do we say to our partners France, Great Britain, Germany, Russia and China who also helped negotiate this deal.

What if Putin says that any attack on Iran (which happens to border parts of the old Soviet union) will most definitely be met with Russian supplied military force in order to protect Russia’s sizeable investments in Iran?

None of this ever seems to get mentioned. All you need to run for the GOP nomination is a few snappy slogans and a couple of billionaires behind the curtain. Intelligent consideration of the issues and the ramifications of specific policy proposals are nowhere to be found. No wonder the GOP is the party of Palin and Nugent. All style with zero substance. And the style ain’t so hot either…

    • Red Mann September 25th, 2015 at 22:30

What? You expect something more than 6 year old thinking ability from them?

  8. Larry Schmitt September 25th, 2015 at 22:10

The only word for that smile is simpering.

    • Suzanne McFly September 25th, 2015 at 22:13

Bret careful the haters are debating what to say, they can’t come up with a response because it will make them unAmerican but trust me they want to say something. Great posts! You notice Progressives won’t give you an up vote, sign of a Benedict Arnold.

      • jasperjava September 26th, 2015 at 03:19

You’re a disgrace to the United States, and everything it’s supposed to stand for.

You think the United States Marines are supposed to slaughter people just because you don’t agree with their religious beliefs. You’re no better than the Islamic terrorists.

        • mcalleyboy September 26th, 2015 at 04:15

Not slaughter keep them out of the US.

          • jasperjava September 26th, 2015 at 05:00

            Based on what, their religion?

And you have the nerve to accuse OTHERS of being “unAmerican”?

You have zero self-awareness, like most conservatives.

            • mcalleyboy September 26th, 2015 at 05:18

All religions, keep them out they don’t blend into our free culture.

    • jasperjava September 26th, 2015 at 03:17

Why does the American Right believe in Muslim religious/sexual fantasies?

      • Bret September 26th, 2015 at 03:27

I’m not on the the far right. But it seems to me the far right doesn’t believe in these perverse Muslim religious/sexual fantasies. They like I just enjoy making fun of them. You have to admit the idea of God rewarding violent psychopathic men eternal orgies in heaven is ludicrous at best.

        • jasperjava September 26th, 2015 at 03:48

          I do agree with that.

But it seems that there are right-wingers who buy into radical Islamic religious fantasies. I’ve heard of an anti-Muslim guy who dipped his bullets in pork fat, with the apparent belief that it would prevent the Muslims that he kills from going to heaven. I mean, who believes that?

Then there’s the anti-Muslim gun shop owner who puts biblical verses on his guns, in the stated delusion that a Muslim would not be able to use that gun as a result. It’s ridiculous magical thinking.

But then almost every belief that right-wing conservatives hold, in economics or foreign policy or what have you, are steeped in bizarre fabulist topsy-turvy lunacy. Everything from Jade Helm to Obama’s birth certificate to trickle-down Austrian School austerity measures.

          • Bret September 26th, 2015 at 05:40

I can only speak to what I believe “they” believe. I am a 56 year old born-again evangelical Christian of 29 years. But I am not a mental case at least not yet. Political right-wingers are always courting our vote. I believe some of them to be sincere men and women of faith who get caught-up in the insanity that is our political popularity contest to elected office and thus feel the need to “out-radical” the competition in a never ending process of forcing everyone, other candidates and even the voting public, further and further to the right until we all pass the technical point of insanity without realizing it. Christian or no. Some of the far-right have been fully indoctrinated, probably from childhood, in the unsound theology of the American Civil Religion that I believe Ronald Reagan perfected back in the 1980’s. The rest are just in bed with big business who have been successfully brain-washing the ignorant, gullible, disenchanted and disenfranchised public.

Those being predominately the white working and middle classes. This brain-washing process, which occurred over decades, has been done in an attempt to undo all the social progress made since the Progressive Movement of the early 1900’s. This to pave the way for the unfettered Capitalism we see developing in our world today. Things got much worse with the Great Recession for it fully exposed all the sins of Reaganomics and Capitalism for all the world to see. Why do you think the right keeps calling Obama a socialist. At it’s worst in 2009 there was open conversation the likes of which America has not engaged in since the Great Depression of the 1930’s. Capitalism is and always has been an evil bankrupt pseudo-science at best. Socialism is and has always been the way to go. But many evil men like Hitler, Lennon and Stalin have hijacked that word to fool their own people and thus given that word a bad reputation.

One that our past leaders played-up during the Cold War between the US and the USSR for 50 years. The average citizen in America seemingly has a short memory and absolutely no historical perspective. And I believe that is no accident. That’s just the way Corporate America wants it. And historically speaking a troubled nation always needs scapegoats to blame our problems on to draw attention away from the crooks who are walking out the front door with all our money in broad daylight. Apparently the powers that be have now given us a great many scapegoats from which to choose. Because of the Great Recession and the fear it instilled in the Capitalists they have been on the warpath. They are trying to push America as far right as is humanly possible regardless of the consequences. They fear Socialism as their money is their God. As the scriptures tell us, the love of money is truly the root of all evil.

Bottom line….the gopee is preoccupied with sex….other peoples

        • fahvel September 26th, 2015 at 05:06

you have a point there – after exterminating the N. American indigenous peoples and enslaving millions of africans, and nuking two cities and invading Iraq and Afghanistan and and and, the usa should think of itself and the moral equivalent or one better than the psych folks you are trying to ridcule.

          • bret September 26th, 2015 at 10:26

You makes some valid points. But looking that far back in history would leave virtually every nation and peoples of this earth with innocent blood on their hands. The Native Americans just plain got a raw deal! Manifest Destiny as it was called was in actuality little more than the manifestation of man’s inhumanity to his fellow man. It was not of God as many Americans wanted to believe at that time but rather of self. Just the pure unadulterated imagined pride of racial superiority, religious ambition and financial greed. And as our forefather’s couldn’t even see fit to honor their own “treaties” they forced upon those peoples, the treatment of the Native Americans remains a scare on our national soul. As for slavery, the slave trade to the New World (America) was big business. The countries of Great Britain, France, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands profited greatly by bringing slaves to the Americas. You need to condemn them too.

Also Africans turned on Africans to capture slaves to sell to the white slave traders. You need to condemn them also. But indeed slavery was a terrible inhumane atrocity. And in the end America paid a horrific price for it. The Civil War of 1861-1865 cost United States 650,000 lives. A number equal to that of all other American wars combined. And we lost a man many historians considered to be our greatest president, Abraham Lincoln. And although we have made great strides forward it is no coincidence that to this day Black America as a whole still occupies a seemingly permanent social underclass and remains a work still in progress. Concerning the “nuking” of the Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of WWII. This action actually saved lives. The atomic bombs dropped on Japan resulted in approximately 225,000 deaths. Had it not been for the atomic bomb the U.S. would have had to invade the home islands of Japan conventionally.

The plans for that invasion, called Operation Downfall had already been made. The best figures I can find estimate US casualties at 3 million with 600,000 deaths and Japan with 8 million dead. If these figures are accurate the dropping of the “nukes” saved 8,375,000 lives on both sides. And remember the Japanese started the war by the unprovoked attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. As far as Afghanistan was concerned, America wanted revenge after the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers in New York. And out of necessity to prevent future attacks. The Al-Qaeda terrorists headquarters and training camps were all located in Afghanistan. As far as Iraq goes, Saddam Hussein was a madman. He used chemical weapons against the Iranians and even his own people. In 1991 he invaded the neighboring country of Kuwait without provocation.

The United Nations voted and drafted a resolution demanding that Hussein withdraw his armies immediately. And even after repeated warnings from then President George H.W. Bush, Saddam Hussein refused. So President Bush in keeping with the U.N. resolution attacked the Iraq forces in Kuwait in what was called the Gulf War. The U.N. resolution only called for the removal of the Iraq armies from Kuwait and this limitation was followed. But if it had been up to me, I would have chased Saddam’s armies all the way to Baghdad and annihilated them off the face of the earth. Then I would have had war crimes trails and hung Saddam and his entire government and made the Iraq pay full reparations to Kuwait, the US and Saudi Arabia as well as punitive damages. So they got off easy. A decade later, President George W. Bush finished the job his father didn’t and the 9/11 attacks were just the excuse he needed to do so.

          • bret September 26th, 2015 at 07:18

Yes I have been married. Many women have tendency to keep some things inside and somehow believe us men are suppose to be able to read their minds. And they get mad at us when we can’t. I don’t know what to tell you about women. By the way did you visit the link I provided on my last reply. I found it extremely funny.

  19. Mann T. September 26th, 2015 at 09:43

Saying things to win favor with the stupid, the aggressive, the prejudiced, the haters and feeding them myths of victimology just makes things worse and worse. There is a cycle of that form of self-destruction on the right. On the left there is ghetto black culture with music, fashion, branding and marketing praising the bullies and thugs that stop any kid from taking their school work seriously. The damage to society is profound.
