Report: Davis Attorneys Say She’ll Violate Court Order Again

CNN is reporting that Kim Davis’s attorneys say she’ll order her office to stop issuing gay marriage licenses, in spite of a court order that she not do so.

“The problem here is that the attorney says she has not changed her mind, that Kim Davis is adamant that as long as her name appears on those marriage licenses, she objects and she will attempt to stop those licenses from being distributed,” [Martin] Savidge reported. “Which means if she goes back on the job as is expected, she will bring the process to a halt. That’s what her attorneys believe.”

“They have said they expect her to go by her conscience which means we may go through this all again,” the CNN correspondent noted.

Savidge said that Davis’ legal team told him that they did not feel that they had won a victory because the judge had not accommodated her demands to have her signature removed from marriage licenses.

    Sounds like the judge is setting her up to violate a federal law…then he can charge her with a civil rights violation…we’ll see how it plays out.

    I agree this is a maneuver to lay groundwork for federal charges that will stick if she keeps this up. All the saps in the crowd supporting her with their chants of ‘Jesus, Jesus’ are thinking they’ve won, wait and see..
