Creationist Ken Ham: Science Has ‘Contaminated’ Kids
Answers in Genesis founder Ken Ham says the church is losing younger members because they are “contaminated” by science in schools.
…the creationist warned that Millennials would “fundamentally change the culture and the church” if they did not turn away from secularism.
“I believe this is a huge warning sign to the church. When a generation no longer builds its worldview on the foundation of the absolute authority of God’s Word, the new generation begins to question everything it says, including its morality,” Hamm opined, lamenting that many young Christians “also believe science has disproved the book of Genesis and that the Flood did not occur during Noah’s day.”
…He added: “Let’s face it: children are being contaminated as a result of their secular education, the secular media, and their secular friends. In a world of no absolutes, evolution, sex outside marriage, gay “marriage,” attacks on gender distinction, humanism, and false religions—children are being tossed to and fro.”

I’ll bet this guy had his kids immunized. If science has “contaminated” kids, he’s quite the hypocrite, as it was science, not Zeus, who created vaccines.

I saw the debate with Bill Nye. His arguments for “historical evidence” are simplistic, at best. Faith and science don’t have to be mutually exclusive, as long as common sense is used. To call the Bible, with all its imperfections and self-contradiction, the absolute “Word of God” isn’t faith, it’s more like refusal to think for yourself.

Just following in the footsteps of the first protestant.

Of course apologists trip all over themselves trying to explain this away.
