The Kentucky clerk who refuses to issue gay marriage licences says she’ll go to jail if necessary.

Kim Davis could become the first Christian in America jailed as a result of the Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage.

“I’ve weighed the cost and I’m prepared to go to jail, I sure am,” Mrs. Davis told me in an exclusive interview. “This has never been a gay or lesbian issue for me. This is about upholding the word of God.”

“This is a heaven or hell issue for me and for every other Christian that believes,” she said. “This is a fight worth fighting.”

    Ms Davis read Romans 13:1-7, that is a direct order from Jesus Christ, there is no wiggle room. He even addresses your problem of “conscience”, it couldn’t be more appropriate.

    she should go to jail.

    then state prison.

    then federal prison.

    it’s what happens to people who break state and federal LAWS.

    unless, of course, you have a ‘secret kowboy klan’ in Nevada and don’t want to.

    but in this case, she’s a wanting to get a good dose of the kriminal side of life – I say – give it to her.

    if she’s rite, her god’ll protect her – if she’s wrong, she may just come out with a whole different opinion…

    LOL, no need for us to foot your room and board, just resign if you are unable to do your job. I get that it’s a tough process to impeach her, but it would be quite simple for her to resign. Surely it violates her supernatural belief system to accept pay for work she refuses to perform?

      just goes to show you that it is always a mistake for a Democrat to think like a conservative Republican.

      same thing happened a while back when some Democrats agreed to support attacking Iraq.

      listening to and agreeing with conservatives was a mistake then, and continues to be a mistake now. thanks for another great example illustrating that truth.
