Robertson: Market Crash Is God’s Punishment For Abortions, Planned Parenthood Funding
God is manipulating the stock market to show Americans how upset his is, reasons Pat Robertson.
Following a report on demonstrations against Planned Parenthood that took place this weekend, the “700 Club” host said that God is not pleased with the Obama administration’s position on Planned Parenthood and abortion rights, as made clear by today’s market slide.
“We will pay dearly as a nation for this thing going on,” he said. “And possibly if we were to stop all this slaughter the judgment of God might be lifted from us. But it’s coming, ladies and gentlemen. We just had a little taste of it in terms of the financial system, but it’s going to be shaken to its core in the next few months, years or however long it tastes and it will hurt every one of us.”

The republicans will NEVER defund PP or outlaw abortions, they have been saying they were going to do it for 50 years now but every time they are in power, they never seem to get around to it….they know without that issue to campaign on, non of the nut cases that vote republican would bother to show up at the polls.

Planned Parenthood needs to change its name to something dishonest and misleading like the republicans do with all of their organizations.
They need to add the words, American, Freedom, Family, citizen, etc. all the republican buzzwords to confuse the fundies into supporting them. It works for republicans even when it is a registered hate group, so it should work for PP too.

Now let’s step BACK in time to list some OTHER “despicable” adjudications by the SCOTUS: Brown v. Board of Education (1954), Heart of Atlanta Hotel, Inc v. United States (1964), Loving v. Virginia (1967), Regents of the University of California v. Bakke (1978) and Grutter v. Bollinger (2003). In ALL these cases, the sky DID NOT fall and we’re STILL awaiting the RAPTURE. I guess that GOD has some MORE important things on HER mind …………..

It seems rather odd that God would punish us by inflicting pain on the financial community. It seems that if he were a vindictive God that He would want to inflict pain and suffering in a more direct fashion to the left-wing liberal heathens who promote abortions and Planned Parenthood (like me). A much better explanation would be that it was a response to the Wall Street crash of 2008 and how not a single individual has been prosecuted for the crisis that hurt so many people.
It’s too bad that Mr. Robertson has not become familiar with the loving God that most of the rest of us have.

Ho hum. Every bad thing that has happened for the last 20 years or more he has blamed on our “immorality” and “godlessness” — hurricanes, fires, now a financial correction. I won’t waste time commenting on him-we know what he is. What amazes me is that there are hundreds of thousands of people who actually pay attention to him and send him money. I myself do not know any. There aren’t, I suspect, too many here in New York. But while I know Mencken wrote that you can’t go wrong underestimating the taste or gullibility of the American people, it still astounds me.
