Ben Carson’s Solution To Illegal Immigration? ‘One Drone Strike, Boom’

Posted by | August 20, 2015 13:00 | Filed under: Andrew Bradford Contributors News Behaving Badly Politics

While he was in Arizona campaigning yesterday, Ben Carson thought he would go ahead and try to outdo Donald Trump when it comes to the topic of illegal immigration.

Carson started his day by chatting with Tea Party darling and Pinal County Sheriff, Paul Babeu. Babeu, you may recall, is the sheriff who appeared in John McCain’s 2004 infamous “Build the Damn Wall” TV ad.

Later in the evening, Carson held a rally in Phoenix and made these remarks:

Several administrations recently have been unwilling to get tough on this issue because they do not want to alienate a large voting block of Latinos. This is yet another area where our government’s leadership and the wishes of many of the people diverge and the people are being ignored….READ MORE at  LiberalAmerica.org

will someone please drop this bastard off in the middle of redneck Beaumont fk’n texas w/o a cell phone. PLEASE!

    • Larry Schmitt August 20th, 2015 at 14:08

No, let him have his phone, they probably have lousy service, and 911 doesn’t respond there anyway.

Gomer has a Pickum-up-Truck with a mattress in the back that they use for an ambulance. When he isn’t taking his girl friend for a ride.

    • The Original Just Me August 20th, 2015 at 14:22

Drop, from the back of a 90 MPH speeding train ?

      • Larry Schmitt August 20th, 2015 at 14:24

I’m not sure any of our trains can actually go that fast.

        • The Original Just Me August 20th, 2015 at 20:38

Todays locomotives can easily pull fully loaded freight consists at 100 + mph IF the track can take it. Some old steam engines were clocked over 100MPH puling passenger trains.

          • Larry Schmitt August 21st, 2015 at 04:42

And a lot of those tracks are still in place. That’s the problem The infrastructure hasn’t kept pace. The Acela doesn’t qualify as high speed by the standards of the rest of the world. There are only a few stretches where it can get to top speed. It has to slow to a fraction of that on any curves.

            • The Original Just Me August 21st, 2015 at 05:56

Continuous welded track or Ribbon rail is about the only thing now days that an handle that speed with todays train weights. In the earlier days the spikes in the ties were still tight and would hold but heavier trains are loosening them up. They really need some more up grading on main lines. All in due time.

              • Larry Schmitt August 21st, 2015 at 07:22

I read a few years ago an explanation of why Europe’s rail system is in such better condition than ours, including high speed trains. It never would have occurred to me, but once I read it, it made sense. The bombing of WWII inflicted heavy damage on the rail lines in Europe. After the war, the Marshall Plan (paid for by us, of course) made it possible for the Europeans to repair their highways and rail systems. Meanwhile, ours simply continued to get older, with no sudden infusion of cash. And we can’t even get Congress to increase the gas tax to replenish the highway trust fund.

                • The Original Just Me August 21st, 2015 at 11:38

This is very true. People just don’t realize how important of a target the rail system of Germany and Europe were. Also as they were rebuilt, many of them went straight electric which greatly reduces maintenance and repair of the rails. In the 70’s and early 80’s, the U.S. railways were greatly deregulated by government. This was a large turning point in the rail industry. Our Rail Roads today are in pretty decent shape but there is more to do. Tariff freight in the U.S. today is HUGHE !

‘Cuz to a teabagging rwnj politician there’s no problem that can’t/shouldn’t be addressed with bombs and killing and everything’s a war. No thought to repercussions, collateral damage, or the absurdity of addressing immigration with explosives. When he was a surgeon, did he blast those brain tumors out of existence or did he finesse them out? Brute force is rarely a good answer.

    • Larry Schmitt August 20th, 2015 at 14:07

Especially when those bombs can be dropped on brown people. (Carson considers himself to be white, since he thinks that way. He’s like Dave Chappelle’s Black White Supremacist. He’s blind, and no one has told him he’s black.)

      • The Original Just Me August 20th, 2015 at 14:21

        Can’t argue that point.

      • Roctuna August 20th, 2015 at 16:26

        Chappelle’s best bit

Yet again, we hear from a strident “pro life” advocate who by his own words clearly demonstrates that there is nothing remotely pro-life about his agenda.

It is pro forced birth and the hell with what happens after the umbilical cord is snipped.

    • The Original Just Me August 20th, 2015 at 14:19

This getting funnier and funnier. In an attempt to Out Trump the Trump, a Doctor dedicated to saving lives is actually calling for killing people.

      • Larry Schmitt August 20th, 2015 at 14:23

No different from “pro-life” people who are pro-death penalty.

        • The Original Just Me August 21st, 2015 at 05:57

          Two sides, same coin.

    • Larry Schmitt August 20th, 2015 at 14:23

      They’re not pro-life, just pro-fetus.

      • AnthonyLook August 20th, 2015 at 20:27

        Pro control (of everyone).

    • Bunya August 20th, 2015 at 14:25

I think that once the kid passes thru the birth canal, he may have them register for the draft. He’ll need as many soldiers as humanely possible to combat the onslaught of brown people.

  4. The Original Just Me August 20th, 2015 at 14:16

Trump is doing very well with his Piccolo Playing. All of the other Rats on the Republican Clown Bus are starting to follow his lead on the Stupid Statement rail.

But there IS money to be made…
(Once read something to the effect of “Any person who spends millions of dollars to get a job that pays less than a million dollars for its duration should be examined closely.”)

          • tracey marie August 20th, 2015 at 19:09

The right needs to find someone sane before it is too late.

            • The Original Just Me August 21st, 2015 at 05:44

True but I think maybe it is too late for this cycle unless they come up with someone who is truly outstanding and I seriously doubt that will happen.

              • tracey marie August 21st, 2015 at 14:42

I can’t even think of one person on the right, not one that is sane.

                • The Original Just Me August 21st, 2015 at 15:42

I am sure there are Good people on the Right but in order for them to stay in office, they have to cow tail to the powers that be. The Elder Geo. Bush is an example. I heard him give a couple of speeches right after he became VP. Then for about two weeks he never appeared anywhere. Then when he did come back out into the public, he was a very much changed man. His early speeches were very agreeable to me but as the Raven says Never More.

          • Larry Schmitt August 21st, 2015 at 08:38

Two points: First, the money they’re spending is someone else’s, so they don’t care how much it is. Second, the president’s salary is now $400,000 per year, so it’s more than a mil for the full term. So that quote is pretty old.

            • Hirightnow August 21st, 2015 at 08:48

So am I, but the underlying principle stands.

              • Larry Schmitt August 21st, 2015 at 09:01

I agree. They still spend way too much money to get the job.

                • Hirightnow August 21st, 2015 at 11:23

No. I’m just a poor old man. My legs are grey. My ears are gnarled. My eyes are old and bent.

1.6 million for one term and 2.2 mil for two terms plus all the perks as President. With Trump’s BILLIONS, why would he take a pay CUT ??

              • Larry Schmitt August 21st, 2015 at 15:20

It’s not about the money with him, it’s about the power.

In October of 2011 Herman Cain the T-bagger favorite was leading the clown car with 27% polling.

I am interested to see if Carson does as well.

  11. Mainah August 20th, 2015 at 18:25

Weren’t they the same people raging that Obama was killing Americans by his use of drone strikes in Pakistan? Do they even listen to themselves? I’m guessing no.

    • StoneyCurtisll August 20th, 2015 at 21:11

      Exactly!

      • Mainah August 20th, 2015 at 21:18

Thank you, I thought they did rage about it.

  12. Hirightnow August 20th, 2015 at 18:57

Hirightnow’s solution to Ben Carson is (unsurprisingly) similar.

  13. AnthonyLook August 20th, 2015 at 20:25

We all knew the Clown Car Two GOP presidential primary would be hilarious; morbid nor so much. Strange days indeed.

I remember this Arizona Sheriff…Paul Babeu.
He was exposed on Grinder, (gay pickup web site)..

(not that there is anything wrong with that)..

Of course there is something very wrong with being a white supremacist skin head with ultra right wing nationalist leanings.

  15. bushputz August 21st, 2015 at 00:21

Yet another example of a misleading headline by Alan.

    • jasperjava August 21st, 2015 at 08:55

      What’s misleading about it?

      • arc99 August 21st, 2015 at 10:02

When you read the article, you see there is nothing misleading about the headline at all. Carson expressed support for using lethal drone strikes to secure the southern border.

These right wingers hawk a chopped up Planned Parenthood video as gospel truth, yet this guy condemns Alan’s site for being “misleading”. By the way, Alan simply copied the headline from the originating website.

My approach to these whiney right wingers is simple.

        F*ck em…

    • arc99 August 21st, 2015 at 09:52

If you do not like the content of this site, then please feel free to not post here or view the discussions.

Personally, I am more than a little fed up with right wingers coming to this site, bitching and moaning about how ‘Alan runs it when the fact is that at a right wing site such as Redstate.com anyone who dared to criticize the publisher Erick Erickson in a similar manner would be banned.

So go on over to Redstate and whine about their content, then come back here and let us all know how long it took for them to cancel your account. My suspicion is that you will not need a calendar to measure the interval. A stopwatch will probably be all you need.

In the meantime, let me just say that the notion that liberal websites are to be held to some standard that is nowhere to be found at right wing sites, is bullsh*t of the highest order. So please share the links to threads where you critique the content of right wing sites. Otherwise take your hypocrisy and well, you know the rest….

    • eaglesfanintn August 21st, 2015 at 14:55

Yup, totally misleading, ““You look at some of these caves and things out there one drone strike, boom, and they’re gone.”
