Stone: Trump Most ‘Charismatic’ Candidate ‘Since Ronald Reagan’

Posted by | August 18, 2015 08:30 | Filed under: Politics Radio Interviews

Former Trump adviser Roger Stone asserted again that he quit the campaign, but that he wholeheartedly supports The Donald for president.  Stone spoke to me of their long-time personal relationship, says they’ve spoken once since the split, and that, while the candidate isn’t yet employing the strategy needed to win, that move is still likely.

Also covered: n discussed why Trump’s appeals most to “blue collar, populist conservatives,” why Trump flirted with being a Democrat for a time, why Stone is no longer with the campaign while still supporting their efforts, and Stone’s own belief that Osama bin Laden is still not dead.

Funny how one person’s charismatic character is another person’s tedious bore.

That’s what passes for republican charisma.

Actually, Trump reminds me of the guy every woman dreads getting stuck with at a party.

Never stops talking. About himself. Thinks he is the most fascinating person in the room. And is more than happy to prove it.

            He’s a peacock.

Without the pretty feathers. But with the annoying squawk.

I would cut off the first three letters in peacock.

But then, that is the best part of a man. Also another name for a male bird.

But he is the most fascinating person in the room when he is in there alone. Think bathroom.

That kind of charisma we can do without. I’d rather have someone who knows what he’s doing.

Maybe he should be doing Dos Equis commercials.

      Or Shwepps..

Negative PR value is exactly why the GOP lost 5 of the 6 past popular POTUS votes.

He may have point. Reagan used his celebrity status and script reading abilities to fool people too.
