Trump Trolls Rand, Hillary Trolls Jeb!
“I honestly have no idea what Mr. Trump’s real philosophy is,” Paul wrote in an Op-Ed for Independent Review Journal. “He was liberal before he was conservative, and has openly professed for decades that his views are those of a Democrat.” It’s a straightforward message to the base of the Republican Party: you can’t trust this guy, he’s not one of us, be very wary of what he’s selling. It’s an interesting move on Rand’s part for a couple of reasons.
You know The Donald would never pass up an opportunity to fire back:
Truly weird Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky reminds me of a spoiled brat without a properly functioning brain. He was terrible at DEBATE!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 11, 2015
Rand is doing a lot better than other candidates, though:
On Monday, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) “joked” that he would start randomly dropping Trump’s name in sentences in order to get people to pay attention to his message.
Meanwhile, back on Dynasty, ” [F]ormer Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, a Republican presidential hopeful, took a swing at [Hillary Clinton’s ambitious plan to overhaul college affordability in the United States] using [Twitter].” The tweets were flying like Trump’s bleeding metaphors. Hillary posted a graphic:
Cost won’t be a barrier to an education. Debt won’t hold you back. Read Hillary’s plan: http://t.co/A4pWb3fOf4 pic.twitter.com/KVyr8SlSVn

Jeb trolled back with his own graphic:
Hillary replied:
Now that’s Presidential trolling. ‘Nuff said!

Donald “I’m-gonna-take-my-ball-and-go-home-if-you’re-not-nice-to-me” Trump has some nerve accusing anyone else of being a spoiled brat.

You would think these egotistical types spend hours in the mirror, but somehow they don’t see or hear what the rest of us do.

Don’t you love farce?
My fault I fear.
I thought that you’d want what I want.
Sorry, my dear.
But where are the clowns?
send in the clowns.

Just when I start
ignoring those boor
Finally knowing the vote that they wanted was yours
Trying to sway the public with their usual lies
It’s a disgrace
nobody tries

Isn’t it rich?
Isn’t it queer,
Losing my timing this late
In my career?
And where are the clowns?
There ought to be clowns.
Well, maybe next year.

Always worth a watch, is this best version of that song.
anothertoothpick August 11th, 2015 at 15:37
Yes….very good.
Sondheim wrote the song specifically for the actress Glynis Johns, who created the role of DesirĂ©e on Broadway. The song is structured with four verses and a bridge, and uses a complex compound meter. It became Sondheim’s most popular song after Frank Sinatra recorded it in 1973 and Judy Collins’ version charted in 1975 and 1977.
Truly a classic.
Thanks for the link Hight.

Everybody loves a clown, so why don’t you?
Everybody laughs at the things he say’s and does
They all laugh when they see him comin’
But you don’t laugh, you just go home runnin’
Everybody loves a clown, so why can’t you?
A clown has feelings, too

Can’t wait for someone, anybody to start calling the Trumpster a loser etc.
Hirightnow August 11th, 2015 at 14:48
The main congregation of Republican hopefuls is likely waiting for Trump to announce his VP….then they’ll lay into him.
amersham46 August 11th, 2015 at 22:58
Hold off naming a VP until the convention ,,, keep playing them against each other . If he runs as a third party candidate , wait till the last day of the convention and steal some of their thunder
