Krugman’s Sick Burn Explains GOP’s Biggest Obstacle

While the rest of the opinionorati have been obsessing on Donald Trump, the Nobel Prize winning economist and NY Times columnist not only explains a big problem for the GOP but brings the requisite, eloquent epic burn:

The shared premise of everyone on the Republican side is that the Obama years have been a time of policy disaster on every front. Yet the candidates on that stage had almost nothing to say about any of the supposed disaster areas.

And there was a good reason they seemed so tongue-tied: Out there in the real world, none of the disasters their party predicted have actually come to pass. President Obama just keeps failing to fail. And that’s a big problem for the G.O.P. — even bigger than Donald Trump.

The same people following the republicans of today ask themselves how could Germany follow Hitler when he was leading them into a world war;germany voting against their own best interest ; Most republicans voting against their own best interest today are ginned up by the same emotions ; hatred, fear, ignorance and cowardice.

And yet the reporters never ask about something such as this..that would require them doing their jobs for heaven’s sake!! Why do their jobs when the corporations don’t really want them to and still get paid. They’re as guilty as the politicians frankly.
