Gun Range Owner Banning Muslims Says Islam Not Protected By Constitution

Posted by | July 28, 2015 17:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Religion

Jan Morgan, owner of the Gun Cave Shooting Range in Hot Springs, AR, says the Muslim religion isn’t protected by the Constitution because it’s not a religion.

“A number of people around the world have sided with me and stood with us on this,” Morgan told FOX Business Network’s Trish Regan during an appearance on The Intelligence Report.

She says the reason she made her decision is because she is personally responsible for the safety and security of her customers while they are handling and shooting firearms. Morgan also noted there are 109 verses of the Quran that dictate hate, murder and terror against all people who refuse to submit or convert to Islam.

“…If you are a Muslim, then you have made a conscious decision to align with Islam, and surely you have read the Quran…I’m going to air on the side of caution for the safety of my customers. I can’t hand you a loaded gun if you agree with those verses.”

      Total Agreement !

  2. arc99 July 28th, 2015 at 17:43

What a coincidence! People named Jan Morgan who own gun ranges in Arkansas are not protected by the Constitution either.

  3. NW10 July 28th, 2015 at 17:52

And how will she know someone is a Muslim?

    • Roctuna July 28th, 2015 at 18:53

By their appearance. She’ll be profiling people just like the two Hindus she turned away for “erratic behavior” i.e. they didn’t look/act like her regular white-bread, teabagging, ammosexual, redneck customers. I wonder how many verses in the bible concern the Israelites killing other tribes who wouldn’t convert? Bet it’s more than 109.

  4. labman57 July 28th, 2015 at 18:10

Conservatives are all about protecting everybody’s “religious freedom” … but only if your religious beliefs are based on accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior.

  5. FatRat July 28th, 2015 at 18:12

Is Jan a direct blood relative of the Wild West Judge Roy Bean? lol

    http://www.thewildwest.org/cowboys/wildwestoutlawsandlawmen/171-judgeroybean

One of Bean’s most outrageous rulings occurred when an Irishman was accused of killing a Chinese American worker. Friends of the accused threatened to destroy the Jersey Lily (bar, home and court of law) if he were found guilty. Bean browsed through his law book, turning page after page, searching for a legal precedent. Finally, rapping his pistol on the bar, he proclaimed, “Gentlemen, I find the law very explicit on murdering your fellow man, but there’s nothing here about killing a Chinaman. Case dismissed.”

      Good research

    • Dwendt44 July 29th, 2015 at 13:04

Sorta like judge Roy Moore isn’t it?

  6. Kick Frenzy July 28th, 2015 at 18:21

So, does she turn away Jewish people too?

  7. allison1050 July 28th, 2015 at 18:29

Okay so Miss Jan Drape the American Flag Across Her Nude Tush While in the Military Morgan and was asked to leave because of this has suddenly become a constitutional scholar did I get that right?

    • tracey marie July 28th, 2015 at 18:41

I did not make that connection, Her place must be failing so she continues to pull this stunt to get rednecks to support her.

      • allison1050 July 28th, 2015 at 19:20

Yep, she’s keeping a blood shot eye at that bottom line of her business.

        • The Original Just Me July 28th, 2015 at 23:06

          By tomorrow, What business ?

      • The Original Just Me July 28th, 2015 at 23:05

I don’t see enough smarts in her action to show her having any business sense.

    • burqa July 28th, 2015 at 20:32

      WHAT?
      She posed HOW?
Holy moly, doesn’t that nitwit know how to treat Old Glory? I mean, come on!, she could’ve gotten a dingleberry on there………instead of being star-spangled she could have made it raisinette-spangled!……………..ugh!

      • The Original Just Me July 28th, 2015 at 23:03

If the picture with this article is genuine, who would have been looking at the Flag ?

      • allison1050 July 29th, 2015 at 00:26

        lol

    • The Original Just Me July 28th, 2015 at 23:01

I would never say you are Right. That would be an insult. BUT I will always say you are CORRECT.

      • Glen July 29th, 2015 at 12:26

That’s not fair. There are people who are Right and still decent and honourable. They’re just being drowned out by the vast numbers of loud, dimwitted ones.

  8. burqa July 28th, 2015 at 18:42

Someone has terribly deceived this young woman. It is a clear illustration of:

    BURQA’S FOURTH LAW OF POLITICS:
Conservative pundits have an S&M relationship with their audiences. Being sadists, the pundits deliberately distort and omit information on various subjects, because they know their audience will repeat it unthinkingly. They enjoy watching their masochistic audience present their half-truths in forums such as this and get creamed, which appeals to their masochism.

Both derive pleasure from being wrong.

    • Roctuna July 28th, 2015 at 18:56

That is very insightful. And deep.

      • burqa July 28th, 2015 at 23:56

        Thank you very much.
The more you think about it the more it all fits into place and begins to explain a few things.
Then if one gives a listen to Limbaugh or Hannity* or any of the others, it becomes more apparent that they are gleeful knowing how they are setting up thousands of people that day to get giant, truck-tire sized pies in the face over and over. This helps explain the mean streak we see when it comes to other people, too.
And what do we see from glassy-eyed Right-wing zombies? They keep coming back for more abuse because they enjoy it!
If you really want to drive a Right-wing drone crazy, just speak in approving, soothing tones, agreeing with them, telling them how smart they are. They can’t handle it and in no time the sweat will begin popping out on their foreheads and they’ll usually get a case of the shakes and will be more provocative, but the thing to do is keep things fern-bar smooth, y’see?

        Damn.
Too bad Julio Botz is not around to sevre as a test subject. That’s ok, you can tell them what you’re doing and it won’t matter….

  9. amersham46 July 28th, 2015 at 20:09

There is a lawyer in Arkansas that sees this one as a slam dunk

  10. Bunya July 28th, 2015 at 20:18

““…If you are a Muslim, then you have made a conscious decision to align with Islam…”
Another scholar proficient in the Qur’an heard from. No great loss. I’m sure true Muslims have no interest in patronizing her gun range.

    • bpollen July 29th, 2015 at 05:13

That’s totally not like how, if you are a Christian, you have made a conscious decision to align with Christianity. No similarity whatsoever… Hey! Look over there!

  11. BigDumbWhiteGuy July 28th, 2015 at 21:15

She’s going to “air on the side of caution.” I’m pretty sure the only air involved here is between her ears.
Had to check out the Fox Business article, just to make sure it wasn’t a typo on Alan’s part. Nope, Fox illiteracy in all its glory.

    • The Original Just Me July 28th, 2015 at 22:57

Instead of air, you may want to check for a vacuum between her ears.

      • Glen July 29th, 2015 at 12:24

No, vacuum has no thickness, whereas this person (by which I mean the gun range owner) is incredibly thick.

  12. Tommie July 28th, 2015 at 22:12

This is what happens when you generalize a race of people for actions of the few, when people feel as though they are not apart of the American dream, they will find something to belong to! Why do you think people want to join ISIS? They feel left out and if they listen to fox news, they hear their kind being dissed all the time, they feel hate and recruiters for ISIS and other terrorist networks pick up on this, especially if they are young! Not condoning terrorist actions but try not to piss off all Muslims like Trump did with illegals! IMO!!!

  13. The Original Just Me July 28th, 2015 at 22:56

Yabba, Yabba. Doo, How Crazy are YOUUUU !!

  14. Darksnark July 29th, 2015 at 01:47

A business owner who caters to the public discriminating against the adherents of a certain religious faith?

I’d love to see the look on Ms. Morgan’s face if the BATFE revokes her Federal Firearms License and orders her shooting range closed because she decided to violate the 1964 Civil Rights Act….

  15. Ellen Dahlgren July 29th, 2015 at 03:10

I can tell that I am dealing with liberals here. Have you watched any TV where Muslims come right out and speak with a forked tongue? They say that they don’t agree with what the extremists are doing, but when asked the majority preferred the Sharif laws and want to be able to live and practice this code of law here in the U.S. in direct conflict with the laws of this country. These laws are the same as what the extremist groups practice. Get a clue. For that matter read the Bible. It’s all in there.

    • bpollen July 29th, 2015 at 05:09

“Have you watched any TV where Muslims come right out and speak with a forked tongue?”

You contend that Muslims are lizard-men? Seems a BIT implausible.

      • rg9rts July 29th, 2015 at 06:16

        Genuine dimbulb

      • rg9rts July 29th, 2015 at 06:42

Caught her on another story…she is a lost conservative…couldn’t understand why there were so many liberals here…told her to read the name of the site and maybe she’d be happier on mediate….2 comments no /’s

    • rg9rts July 29th, 2015 at 06:15

You might READ the name of the site…what did you expect ??? a George II fan club… you might be happier on mediate.. more wingnuts

    • Bunya July 29th, 2015 at 10:02

Maybe YOU should read the bible. And after that you can read the Harry Potter series. They’re both the same.

    • Dwendt44 July 29th, 2015 at 12:57

As opposed to ‘christian sharia’? There is a city in New York State that is strictly Jews only, it that what you refer to?

      • illinoisboy1977 July 29th, 2015 at 16:24

Kiryas Joel. It’s not “Jews only”, it just happens to be majority Jewish population. It’s not like they disallow anyone outside the faith to live there. They can’t.

    • eaglesfanintn July 29th, 2015 at 17:31

      Are those Omar Sharif laws?

  16. rg9rts July 29th, 2015 at 06:13

    Neither are christians

  17. thinkingwomanmillstone July 29th, 2015 at 08:33

She’s going to “air on the side of caution”…what an “err head”!

  18. illinoisboy1977 July 29th, 2015 at 16:27

The Civil Rights Act prohibits discriminating against people, based on their religion. If her only reasoning to deny them service is their faith, she’s in violation of the law. Her opinion on whether Islam is a religion or not, is irrelevant. The law recognizes their faith and the law is all that matters, here. She’s put herself in a VERY vulnerable position, for litigation.

    • Ormond Otvos July 29th, 2015 at 17:38

Nah, she’s a private club, not open to the general public. She may be vulnerable to a test through subterfuge, like having well-behaved normal people who happen to be Muslims apply, and maybe unerratic Hindus, or Sikhs, or hippies, or scraggly rednecks.

      • illinoisboy1977 July 30th, 2015 at 10:35

If she’s a private club that operates on a “for profit” basis, she’s still subject to many aspects of the Civil Rights Act.

      • cwazycajun July 30th, 2015 at 10:51

excuse me but for some reason you lumped hippy in with red neck I would mrather be around a shyt loaded bunch of hippies than one bassacwards inbred red neck

  19. Ormond Otvos July 29th, 2015 at 17:36

She’s right, she’s smart, and as a private club, she’s acting legally.

    AND

Islam is properly considered a “theocracy through violence” both through its holy book, and through the actions of literal millions of Muslims. Cartoons of Muhammad? Other religions have backed off from anti-secularism, but not Islam.

    • cwazycajun July 30th, 2015 at 10:50

really when has the christian cult backed of secularism and yes christians are violent too there also good at whining and playing the victim card ..card?? I mean the whole friggin deck

  20. Godfather July 29th, 2015 at 17:53

Islam is not a religion….it’s a political movement

    • cwazycajun July 30th, 2015 at 10:48

well if islam isnt a religion, I guess your right it’s a cult just like christianity
