Mike Huckabee: Donald Trump A Welcome Part Of The Republican Party
Unlike some Republican Presidential candidates (Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham) who have sought to distance themselves from the racist, anti-immigrant comments made by Donald Trump, Mike Huckabee says Trump is a very welcome addition to the herd of GOP contenders for 2016.
During an appearance on the radio program “American Heartland with Dr. Grace,” the former Governor of Arkansas remarked:
Click here for reuse options! You know I’ve been very careful not to comment on the other candidates and I’ve been very honest in saying (that) Donald Trump doesn’t need my help getting wind underneath his wings or to get publicity. It’s very difficult for me to understand why Republicans spend our time beating up on other Republicans. Donald Trump has every much right to run as I do or anyone else. He will make his statements, he will stand by his statements, and he’ll defend them. I’d rather focus on my own plans, and that’s what I’m doing….READ MORE at LiberalAmerica.org.

In other words, Huck’s a coward and is doing everything he can to conceal how he feels about immigrants. His unwillingness to condemn Trump’s comments tells me he sees nothing wrong with them. What right-wing politicians don’t seem to understand is that when they fail to speak out vigorously against wrongdoing, or they issue mealy-mouth opposition statements, millions of us are paying attention, and we know they don’t have the courage, or will, to stand up for us against people like Trump. This gives us no reason to vote for them in any election.

One crafty, evil crazy nodding to another doesn’t make it less evil or crazy. A fair tactic to appeal to the incompetent, misinformed or crazy, can’t wait for the debates.
