That Time James ‘Pimp Boy’ O’Keefe Was Detained By Customs
We’re at a loss here: somehow, this story slipped past our ever-watchful editors’ attention! The takeaway, of course, is pretty clear: dressing up as Osama bin Laden and crossing the border illegally is not a good idea:
Last August James O’Keefe entered the US illegally wearing an Osama Bin Laden costume while his assistants took a video of the stunt. Then they put it up on You Tube. Not surprisingly that video of O’Keefe illegally crossing the border caught the attention of US Customs who frowns on that sort of thing. [Monday,] while reentering the US O’Keefe was detained and discovered to his dismay his stunt got him placed on a US Customs watch list, and he’ll remain on that watch list having crossed the border illegally.
The arrogant, narcissistic pseudojournalist, whose dishonest depiction of ACORN employees in a “sting” video has seen him on the six-figure losing side of a high-profile lawsuit, decided to tweet his reentry travails:
O’Keefe starts off with a pompous comment about just wait until they see what an important journalist they’re dealing with! Then wishing the ACLU would intervene on his behalf.

No, it’s not because you’re a journalist, whice by the way you are not, but because you decided to dress up like a guy who murdered nearly 3000 Americans and illegally cross the border.

o’keefe is a bombastic, spotlight chasing type of person. But have any of you ever actually watched his hidden camera video of walking into ACORN? MY GOD! That was EXTREMELY DAMNING. If you haven’t watched it, you need to. Those people flat out tried to help someone get welfare who claimed to pimp underage illegal immigrants. Why do you think ACORN has disappeared? Yea, it’s pretty obvious why the left wing hates him so much. Oh, and crossing the border dressed like bin laden? He’s done in about a half dozen times. he does it to prove a point: the border is wide open. We are not being protected. Our government is so derelict of it’s duty, it is practically inviting a terrorist to cross into this country from Mexico. Really disturbing.
