Kick Frenzy June 15th, 2015 at 12:45
No, he’s ridiculous.
Unless he’s happy with saying blacks should never do anything white people do.
He may be smart sometimes, but this is just pretentious.
StoneyCurtisll June 16th, 2015 at 17:46
Comedy is so objective…
Some might find the same thing funny, while another finds it offensive…
I mean no offense to anyone by my post..;)
Kick Frenzy June 17th, 2015 at 23:24
I was hoping you didn’t think I was offended or held anything against you.
He is funny, no doubt about that… he cracks me up sometimes.
And sometimes he does have a great viewpoint on stuff.
It’s just this one thing that gets under my skin.
It’s dumb to claim other people can’t be inspired by your heritage or culture.
I’m all for respecting people and their cultures, but it’s like he has no appreciation for what it means to be inspired or influenced by cultures outside of the one you grow up in… or even just skin color (like Eminem).
In this instance, he’s the one being racist.. to be blunt.
And I’ve heard it come out of his mouth before.
But he is funny and I imagine he doesn’t take it so seriously that he would get into some altercation with a white raper or something.

minnesota man wins las vegas poker championship by accident
Christian Pham of St. Paul, Minnesota, did exactly that Thursday, rising to the top of 219 players, including a few poker icons. By accident.
The 40-year-old professional poker player said he intended to play no-limit Texas
Hold ’em but instead inadvertently signed up for a different game
happening the same day: so-called no-limit deuce-to-seven draw lowball.
The cost? A $1,500 buy-in.
“It’s a totally different game. Different mindset. Different strategies,” said Shawn Harris, Pham’s dealer at the final table.
Essentially, the goal is to have the lowest poker hand, no straights or
flushes, and if a player ends up with a pair, it’s better if it’s a pair
of twos. Players can also draw cards.
The event was just one of 68, all offering a chance at a golden bracelet
prize, happening in Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino
throughout the 51-day World Series of Poker that started on May 27 and
culminates with the closely watched Main Event.
Pham said he didn’t realize his mistake until he was dealt five cards
instead of the usual two. He panicked, then observed, leaning on helpful
players who advised him what beat what.
Then he won a $200 satellite tournament in 2014 that sent him to Caesars
Palace in Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker’s circuit main event
where he won the gold ring and $214,332

Seems like such a reasonable man.
Robert M. Snyder June 20th, 2015 at 19:32
Reason and science have a lot to offer. So too does religion. I am not big on theology. But religion is much more than just theology. Religion teaches humility and forgiveness. Just ask the people of Emanuel A.M.E. Church or the Amish families whose children were killed in the Nickel Mines school shooting. It’s a damned shame that some religious people are nut jobs. They give the good folks a bad name.

Something spectacular happened yesterday.
Washington Nationals’ pitcher Max Scherzer threw a complete game shutout against the Brewers in a 4-0 victory. Damned near every pitch was a masterpiece. He was bringing the heater at 97 routinely, with movement. Scherzer’s slider just plain disappeared and his curve and changeup couldn’t be better.
He gave up one blooper hit inches past the outstretched glove of second baseman Anthony Rendon and Scherzer walked only one batter.
16 strikeouts.
27 swings-and-misses.
28 at-bats.
119 pitches.
There were only 2 sharply hit balls. One was a foul hit down the third base line and the other was a line drive hit right at shortstop Ian Desmond. The hardest task for Nats outfielders all day was trying to stay awake.
Experiencing a performance like this by someone on your team is exceedingly rare. I got to do it the old-fashioned way, on the radio as I puttered in the garden and then relaxed in the shade with a restorative cocktail or two. Dave Jaegler and Charlie Slowes called a superb game. It was apparent from the beginning that Scherzer was on his game and they didn’t mention there hadn’t been a hit until that blooper in the 7th.
They just called the game as it was and if you weren’t following along they weren’t going to keep updating the lazy listeners who hadn’t been following along.was throwingwas
One after the other, Milwaukee Brewers trudged to the plate like Aztec sacrificial victims marching up a pyramid to watch some witch doctor cut out their hearts and have their still-breathing carcasses thrown down one side of the building.
All the Brewers could do was guess wrong.
I can’t recall the attendance, but hope it was a sellout on a fine Sunday, so as many as possible Brewer fans could see their team mashed before their eyes the day after one of their pitchers intentionally hit Bryce Harper with a pitch. He had to sit out the game.
…………………………and to think I nearly went in to work…

since we are about to see the debates start on aug.6th
Alan would it be asking too much if or when you have presidential candidates on your radio show to have them take several calls from the listeners ?
some of us might want to voice their issues with their state politics to see what your guest would do if they become president
