Comedian Colin Quinn, promoting his new book, The Coloring Book, spoke to me Wednesday night about the issue of how politically correct comedy has to be.

His book is a comedic take on discusses the way people look at ethnic and cultural stereotypes in America. I asked if it’s more difficult to do edgy humor in the age of political correctness.

We also discussed his career highs and lows and why he thinks it’s lazy if comedians always go for the laugh.
