Anne Graham Lotz: The End Of Human History Is Close

Posted by | May 21, 2015 09:00 | Filed under: Radio Interviews Religion

Billy Graham’s daughter, Anne Graham Lotz, discussed her belief that the end times are near and will likely happen in her lifetime. She’s 67, so that means relatively soon.  She wants all americans to pray between now and May 23 because the Rapture is coming and there will be terrible events on earth before it arrives. Those who accept Jesus will simply “disappear” from earth, while those of us who are left behind will struggle with a quickly deteriorating planet.

We also discussed whether God is loving or vengeful.

It’s been within someone’s lifetime for the past 2000 years to religious fanatics. I’m not worried.

If “human” history is about to end, then the Graham clan has absolutely nothing to worry about.

I couldn’t bring myself to listen to the interview so tell me, loving or vengeful? I’m going with lovingly vengeful in a genocidal sort of way.

I wonder if Billy dropped a lot of acid?

Ah, somebody needs some media attention!

It’s the end? Again? WTF, why can’t God make up her damn mind?

Her? If God is a woman a man’s penis would be on his chin.

      (Gallagher)

If Gods a man, he would of put men’s brains in the head on their shoulders.

If Jesus would come down and make all these insufferable evangelicals disappear, I would be very grateful, and so would the Earth.

We can only hope for the rapture.

So if I sign up via email for this alan website am I going to get bombarded with emails or do they keep it to a dull roar? They have some articles that are definitely worth reading. Let me know if you are a signed up person. I’ve seen you post links to other stories from here in the past. Thanks.

The best way to go is just what you have done.

I have it bookmarked and just drop in each day. Actually, a few times each day.

    • pignose4.0 May 21st, 2015 at 13:51

I had rapture once in the back seat of…..never mind…..

      • nola878 May 21st, 2015 at 17:17

I once saw paradise by the dashboard lights….

  11. BJMoose666 May 21st, 2015 at 13:16

Needs to change her name to Anne Lieszalotz.

Remember the last guy who set a date for the “rapture” in 2011?

    It actually got a lot of coverage (considering), and he had followers;

Camping’s May 21 Rapture Followers Begin Depleting Life Savings

Camping Follower Explains What to Expect in Friday’s Rapture

Someone suggested, as a prank, to lay clothes and shoes out in various positions on yards and sidewalks, to ellicit an “Oh, NO!!, I didn’t make the cut!!!” response.

    • pignose4.0 May 21st, 2015 at 13:50

I’m in….heading to the Salvation Army thrift store right now……..

      • OldLefty May 21st, 2015 at 13:56

I’m heading out to mow the lawn now.
I figure the shirt would be on top of the pants, on top of the shoes…. not laid out in the shape of a person cutting the grass.

It would only be good with a neighbor who was pompous, sanctimonious and certain, though.

Wasn’t Lotz wife turned into a pillar of salt?

    • Paul Julian Gould May 21st, 2015 at 23:00

And the family thereafter never had to worry about how to afford filling the salt shaker…

Yo! Challah! Scrape another couple of times on your zayde… shaker’s empty…

  15. StoneyCurtisll May 21st, 2015 at 16:46

    Billy Graham’s daughter is also a preacher-charlatan?..
Does this family know nothing else than how to lie and fleece people out of money?
They are nothing more than a criminal enterprise..

  16. Alencon May 21st, 2015 at 18:36

May 23rd? That’s like Saturday isn’t it? Who’s got the popcorn? Time for another “End of the World” party.

In the meantime John Hagee is predicting a blood moon apocalypse for September.

Of course when absolutely nothing happens these lunatics will claim their prayers saved the day.

  17. Gregory Peterson May 21st, 2015 at 18:48

Let’s see if I got this right, Ms Graham Lotz. The “glorious supernatural born-again race”*, children of the light, will be wafted to an exclusive Pearly Gated community of many mansions…antebellum style, no doubt…never having to share heaven with the religiously inferior riff-raff like they did on Earth.

Meanwhile the inferior supernatural race of darkness will get what comes to people who don’t do as they’re told by their superiors, like the children of Billy Graham.

    * I remember channel surfing and stopping to hear Kenneth Copeland repeatedly use that phrase while in an ecstatic state. A few days later, I remember catching him explaining to a Black man not to take it as this Norwegian American had taken it, and still does.

On the theme of the superior religiosity of right wing evangelicalism and their allegedly divine mandate for (heterosexual male) privilege and power…

A local megachurch, Steve Smothermon (who has hobnobbed with the likes of Scott Lively and Rich Scarborough) characterized born again Evangelicals as God’s privileged nobility..The born again nobility, you see, “[are placed] above the common man and carry a distinction of honesty and integrity.” Does that mean us “common men” aren’t to be trusted and have no integrity which God’s nobility need respect? (“What’s at your core,” from his book “Large Living in a Small World”)

    Matthew 24:34-35

  19. Gregory Peterson May 21st, 2015 at 18:52

Isn’t she the one that I vaguely remember envisioning Heaven as a cube shaped world?

  20. Clint Batterton May 21st, 2015 at 19:05

I am sure that she is a a very nice person, as false prophets go. As we know from experience, however, their track record is zero in their apocalyptic predictions. Perhaps she she should find an honest profession instead.
