Even as those exceedingly rare and completely explainable cases panicked the entire country and had Republican governors locking up hero nurses, the Ebola virus was still devastating several nations in West Africa, particularly Liberia.

Since then, though, the copious assistance provided by the Obama administration has been paying off, and on Saturday, the White House announced that Liberia, the nation with the highest death toll during the current outbreak at 4,716, is now officially Ebola-free (via email from The White House)…READ MORE

Don’t think for a moment that the Obola virus isn’t cursoring through the veins of the GOP and their hate machine.,..
    it’s just dormant right now…
Just when you thought Benghazi/Ebola were things of the past…
The GOP will dig those bones up, and do everything in their kit bag to bring them back to life..

my neighbor who is white and who i love so dearly, father is a repuke, she’s not. i told you all about how he didn’t like Obamacare and that when his sorry ass got sick, he didn’t have the insurance for the surgery he needed, then he did the “smart” thing and got it (Obamacare). well, she and i had the obola talk and we both said, once the elections were over, the talk would end as it did. now, i wonder if her asshat of a father will buy into it when it comes up again. i don’t know where his heads at, because his only grandchild, from his only child, father is mexican. now that’s a hoot. he doesn’t like President Obama, and she doesn’t know why. but, he’s stupid in love with his granddaughter. little ms. audrey.

    An interesting aside:

Liberia was founded in 1847. Because a group of white guys thought free blacks in America were a problem. So they “resettled” them in Africa. Liberia became the second black republic in the world in modern times. The group of white guys included some notable names (Daniel Webster is an example) but the membership itself was very notable for the very few abolitionist members… Few abolitionists, lotsa slaveholders.

yeah, the capital Monrovia was named after a guy whose law office was about 3 blocks from where i am – James Monroe. Since then we’ve always had a sort od special relationship with Liberia.

c’mon now, it wasn’t Obama – it was a damned serious world wide effort by mostly western european countries and the usa joining hands to something good for once without a drone or excess destruction to innocents.
