Did White House Know Tom Brady Would Be Implicated In Deflategate Cheating Report?
Two weeks ago, the New England Patriots visited the White House to celebrate their victory in Super Bowl XLIX with President Obama, an event that had a lot of White House reporters wondering how President Obama would handle the under-investigation cheating scandal that had largely faded from the limelight. The White House had staked out a position by standing with the Jackie Robinson All-Stars in their cheating scandal because those were children who were undermined by the actions of adults, an excuse that wouldn’t hold water for the Patriots.
As it turned out, President Obama handled the scandal by making several joking references to it during the event, but the biggest elephant in the room was the one that wasn’t there:
“I usually tell a bunch of jokes at these events, but with the Patriots in town, I was worried that 11 out of 12 of them would fall flat. (Laughter.) All right, all right, all right. That whole story got blown a little out of proportion.”
Quarterback Tom Brady was a no-show to the event, citing, at the time, a “family commitment.”

since brady didnt deflate the balls nothing is going to happen to him. I cant say the rest of the staff will say the same

Yes it does, he was obligated to speak out and stop the cheating. He went with it and denied all knowledge afterwards.

at first tom probably didn’t know and speaking out would only raise more questions that tom couldn’t answer because he wasn’t there when or if the air was taken out of the balls
