Cyril Wecht: ‘Never Seen A Spine Injury With No Bruises’

Posted by | May 1, 2015 10:00 | Filed under: Radio Interviews

Forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht told me there couldn’t have been enough velocity in the van for Freddie Gray to have injured himself, and that he couldn’t have a spine injury with no bruises or more visible signs of trauma. He isn’t buying the police story.

And at Raw Story, they’re reporting this about the fellow that recorded Gray’s arrest. Two helicopters and an armored car to stop him for an illegal turn? No sir, no intimidation or ulterior motive there, no sir. There’s some shady sh*t goin’ on here.

Smart people make mistakes occasionally, and I do not always agree with Dr. Wecht. Not surprised that he weighed in on this, trying to keep his name out there to possibly help his son with his campaign. Primaries are coming up this month.

(According to his family and attorney Billy Murphy, when Freddie arrived at the hospital he had three broken vertebrae, his spinal cord was severed 80 percent, his voice box damaged, and his brain was swollen.)

I’m ASSUMING Mr. Gray asked/screamed for medical help. Someone stopped the van and crushed his vocal chords and ran him full force backwards, while all four limbs were shackled. He flew into an object and the PSI shattered his vertebrae. Would explain why his neck was damaged on opposing sides.
