Lynch Confirmed After Five Month Stall

They could have done it more quickly.

The Senate approved Lynch, a federal prosecutor from New York, after an unusually long confirmation delay, fraught with partisan bickering. President Barack Obama nominated her as the successor to Eric Holder in November.

The vote was 56-43.

Lynch, 55, faced staunch Republican objection to her support of the president’s use of executive action on immigration policies, including the deferred deportation of up to 5 million undocumented immigrants.

    from what I heard the decision came to a halt when asked if she had made or could make independent decisions ? I don’t have the exact transcripts but I didn’t go very well.

    Just what we need another AG in the pocket of the Banksters, too bad that was not one of the objections raised. We have the best Government that Money can Buy!
