Chafee: Hillary ‘Cold’; Likes Being ‘Center Of Attention’
Former Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee, who is preparing to announce for the Democratic presidential nomination, talked to me about having worked with Hillary Clinton in the Senate. He also discussed his journey from Republican to Independent to Democrat, and having bucked his former party on many issues.
COLMES: Do you have any relationship with Hillary Clinton? Do you know her at all?
CHAFEE: We served together in the Senate and we served on the Environment and Public Works Committee together. I worked on a couple of bills with her.
COLMES: What’s your impression?
CHAFEE: She’s as everyone said a policy wonk, she can be cold.
COLMES: Cold personally? Not a warm fuzzy human being?
CHAFEE: Yeah, when we worked on some of these issues, she likes to be the center of attention.

He should focus on policy not personality.

I’d be all for a democratic primary, but not if it’s filled with right leaning half/dems who only want to attack HC personally and avoid the issues. Webb, Chaffee and Mallory…can go suck a sock.

Something smells funny……..OH! It’s Chafee the ship jumping vote me into daddies office, ” professional ” politician. And the only thing he can say about wanting to be president is to attempt to slam Mrs. Clinton. Should have stayed a republican, but he had to fool the voters to get elected.
