High School Students Save Dog Left For Dead
How can you refuse a nice animal story on a Monday morning?
Five male high school students from San Antonio, Texas, showed their compassion and strength when they saved the life of an abandoned dog they found on their school’s track.
The teens noticed a starving Labrador retriever mix stranded on the track at Harlandale High School, reports the Examiner. The boys — Brandon Noriega, Roland Bazan, Joseph Rangel, Ivan Zarate, and Luis Villanueva — reportedly brought her water and took turns keeping her company while the others went to retrieve help from Protecting Animals Within San Antonio (PAWS), reports KENS 5.
Luckily, PAWS has a club on the high school campus and rescuers were quickly able to transport the 6- to 7-year-old dog, which has been named “Londyn,” to Callaghan Animal Hospital.

Good kids, thank you for your compassion and sense of responsibility.
We hear about the drunken guys who rape, riot, and behave badly, and not enough about the millions of kids who are good citizens.
