Ever since Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu won reelection last week, White House has been offering blistering criticism of Netanyahu over some of the desperate rhetorical measures he took in
the waning days and hours of his reelection campaign, including
a racist appeal to counter Arab voter turnout and a pledge not to allow a Palestinian state during the duration of his tenure. Even after an attempt at a walkback and an apology, President Obama made clear that
he still takes Netanyahu at his pre-election word that a two-state solution won’t e happening under a Netanyahu government.
When President Obama was asked, at a joint press conference on Tuesday, if there was anything Netanyahu could do to restore confidence in his commitment to a two-state solution, Obama instead attacked the substance of Netanyahu’s walkback, such as it was, but never offered the benchmark he was asked about.
At Wednesday’s White House daily briefing, I decided to go at the question another way, asking if a realistic two-state proposal by Israel would earn Netanyahu forgiveness…READ MORE

Oddly No ” blistering criticism” of Iran who just toppled the government of Yemen from the White house.
Aielyn March 26th, 2015 at 21:31
So basically, you reject what America has to say because of that “evil Obama”, but if Yemeni government says the Rebels are being supported by Iran, you take them at their word?
Did you know that the rebels are Zaidi Muslims? Did you know that Iran’s muslims are almost all Twelver Muslims? They’re both sects of Shi’a, but they’re not the same.
And so, I’m going to ask you for evidence, beyond the claims of the Yemeni government, for the claim that “Iran… just toppled the government of Yemen”.
And then I’ll ask you to read this, where the White House has quite openly and blisteringly criticised the Houthi movement: https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2015/03/25/statement-nsc-spokesperson-bernadette-meehan-situation-yemen (note that this is just one example – there are plenty of others).

Aielyn thank you for your efforts but it will be to no avail.
Red Eye is the worst kind of far right wing troll. He never has a civil word for any one who dares have a different opinion than he does. He comes to this forum and pollutes it with his innuendos, distortions and outright lies. When other regulars provide factual information which contradict his ridiculous fiction, most of the time there is no reply. If there is any reply, it is usually irrelevant or another lie, or both.

a president intent on securing the right of Iran to acquire nuclear weapons is
_____
But Bush, under who’s watch Iran furthered it’s nuclear program is gone.
Perhaps you mean Bibi and the Republican Congress who really does seem to be doing EVERYTHING they can to push Iran into obtaining a nuclear weapon.
Just like the right armed Iran and Saddam.

Are you Really claiming that Iran did not make the MOST progress under Bush?
Why does J Street support the deal?
Why did james Baker, speaking at J Street’s conference call on critics to hold their fire on an Iran accord until an agreement is actually reached (or not)?
How about … “The U.S. shouldn’t count on Europe to acquiesce to calls to isolate Iran still further if talks fail, said Richard Dalton, the U.K.’s former ambassador to Iran.“As things are shaping up now, it doesn’t seem like it would be easy to say the fault or the failure comes fully down to the Iranians,” he said by phone. Instead, “if the failure happens now, it may be because of something which the U.S. either does or is incapable of doing.”

There is a whole lot more out there besides what you hear in the right wing echo chamber.

Why is the right so desperate for another war?

So if I have this right, Obama is playing hard ball with Bibi but Bibi supporters believe Obama can’t play hard ball with the Iranians?
