Most American Jews love Israel, but they are not right-wing and, thus, do not take to Benjamin Netanyahu. In particular, his sneaky deal with John Boehner to address congress and his ever-more-harsh rhetoric are not helping him with the American Jewish community.

Mr. Netanyahu’s party won the election and cheers from hawkish American Jews. But in interviews this week, rabbis, scholars and Jews from across the country and a range of denominations said that with his campaign tactics, he had further divided American Jews and alienated even some conservatives, who had already suspected that he was more committed to building settlements than to building peace with the Palestinians.

Even with Mr. Netanyahu’s postelection interview walking back his statements against a two-state plan for peace with Palestinians, many Jews say they are worried that the most lasting outcome of the elections will be the increasing isolation of Israel — not only around the world but also from the younger generation of American Jews.

    Rightwingers/conservatives have been winning office only by lying, cheating and low voter turnout: US 2014 Mid-Term and Israel 2015 elections. Therefore, for them to say they have mandate/s on certain big issues is BS, hollow and false.

    Two wrongs don’t make a right.

    The Israeli’s look at the American Jew as someone to be fleeced…like the plant a tree program…where they change the donation tag when they find out a big donor is on hand and wants to see HIS trees
