Michael Schiavo: ‘I Want [Jeb Bush] To Look Me In The Eye And Tell Me Why’

Michael Schiavo, who was married to Terri Shiavo until her passing ten years ago, fought a years-long battle to obey his wife’s wishes not to survive on life support. It became a big cause for the right wing, and then-Florida Governor Jeb Bush intervened, as did his brother President George W. Bush and the Republican congress. Schiavo spoke to Politico recently because of Jeb Bush’s desire to run for president, and I spoke with him Monday night.

COLMES: You are painting a picture of a Jeb Bush that is nothing like what the press has been doing for the last few months.
SCHIAVO: I believe Jeb Bush, to me, he’s a coward. He’s vindictive, after this is all said and done with my wife’s case and my wife had passed away, he continued to bring allegations against me…

I want him to look me in the eye and tell me why. What was Terri Schiavo to you? Because some family members came to see you? Or was it really because you needed your political backing? And this is going to make the big day for you. Where were you when we were up at the Florida Supreme Court? When your law was found unconstitutional? If it was so important to you, where were you? When you stood on those steps when your daughter had problems? You asked for privacy. How come I didn’t get it? How come you didn’t afford that to me? Answer that question for me.

      Other than Terri being his legal wife, she really was nothing to him at the time he stopped allowing her to take nourishment. He had already moved on and was in a relationship with another woman. Not quite the loving and caring husband if you ask me.

    Just another case where the party against “big government” will use big government to force their religious views on the rest of us.

    Because Jeb Bush is a vindictive bully. He is three times as bad as his older brother and would turn this country into a shit hole within a year of elected.
