After the immolation, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Sunnis, Shites, the imam of the largest mosque, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, Iran and America as well as the many voices of everyday people who worship Islam came out AGAINST ISIS and called for their death and defeat throughout the world. The Taliban and Al Queda vowed to root them out and kill them…any questions rwnj’s?

Recent reports have suggested the Taliban and some other terrorist groups wanted nothing to do with ISIL and left them to destroy Iraq. Meaning there was no effort what so ever to stop ISIL from what destruction and murders they have already done. You cant believe some reports saying otherwise
at least I haven’t seen any conflicts or attempts from non military groups condemning their efforts

That is wrong FP. The kurds fought off ISIS from their part of Iraq and the Iraq army took back parts as well, The USA led coalition dropped bombs to help the Iraqies win.

The kurds who fought ISIL were mostly military ( that we trained ) who didn’t wear street clothes under their uniforms my dear while the suni’s and Shiites for the most part took off and ran. Its been reported many times that the kurds were out numbered and that’s why Obama had to step in with ground and air strikes.

Sitting here jet lagged after two weeks in the Emirates and Lebanon, and I can tell you for sure that my Muslim friends there are agast at the savagery of ISIS. Several clerics were on local outlets condeming those savages. They do not represent the vast majority of Muslims whether Sunni, Sh’ia, or any other Islamic sect.

Building like crazy. The most construction cranes in Beirut than in the last six years. Med front flats priced in 7 figures. Officials claim tourists are still coming. Hamra area of Beirut very busy. It looks good to me. The political pot is boiling, but that always seems to be the case.
