Tom DeLay: Obama’s State Of The Union Address ‘Great’ In Laying Out ‘His Socialist Ideas’

I kidded former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, urging him to agree with me that the president’s State of the Union address was “great.” DeLay surprisingly said, “actually I thought it was great…I just love the kind of address he gave. It just laid out his socialist ideas…” His point was that the president’s boldness should push Republicans to be bold in response.

DeLay talked about how unconstitutional the president’s ideas are, which means he also believes Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other such programs are unconstitutional, but we’ve come to accept them in our society.  “Is all that that currently exists unconstitutional?” I asked.  DeLay responded, “Yeah it is.”
