UPDATED: To Our Readers: A Change Is Gonna Come
Just to confuse our readers even more, we have some new changes about to take place. As you probably know, FreakOutNation merged with Liberaland quite a few months ago (Don’t make me look up the exact date. You’re not the boss of me!) and the traffic and comments have been amazing.
Alan is not forcing me to say this (nods head yes) but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with him and it’s been a wonderful learning experience for me. Gene is an excellent admin. He’s an easy guy to work with and talk to. Also, he likes hamburgers, too. Don’t judge me. I’m hungry.
That Anomaly woman
We are undoing the merge and will have two sites again, but we’ll still be working together. How can you do that, you say? OK, you didn’t say that, but I’ll answer the question anyway.
I’ll still be all over the comments here and our moderators have the option of staying on here, too.
When Alan’s away, I’ll fill in for him and unleash my libtardness on his readers. I’ll still be the same gauche blogger I’ve always been.
Tiffany Willis from Liberal America will be helping me out with the move because I’m a tech-dummy. Also, Gene is trying to make the transition easy for me, too.
Geeky ComgenKDT is also helping out and emailing me with lists of stuff to do and not to do.
I’m not sure what day this will take place but it will be soon. I have to call the server people and pay them eleventy thousand dollars in order to get a dedicated server thingy set up, but I’m on it.
I wanted to take a minute to thank all of our readers and that guy Alan, too. I love this site and will continue to auto-tweet posts from here and spread them far and wide — or just put the links on Facebook and tweet them.
To be clear: Alan and I did not get in a drag-out knock-down fight, although that would be a fun rumor to start. We started this venture as friends and we will remain friends. I thought this merge would give us both more time away from the computer. But, with more traffic, came more responsibilities and I still have no life <sad face>.
In addition, I need to make ends meet like grown ups do, so going back to FON might help me (or maybe not) to reach that goal
It’s been a fantastic ride. I love being here, so just because I won’t be here, that doesn’t mean I’m not really here. Yes, that made total sense in my head somehow.
I’ll be around.

Let me add how much Anomaly has contributed to the growth of Liberaland. She is a terrific blogger and has helped this site in ways I can’t even calculate. I hope those who have found us because of Anomaly and FON will stick around and enjoy both sites for the price of one. Along with Anomaly we’ve found some terrific mods who will, hopefully, continue to interact with us in the comment section. A special thank you to TiredOfTea, Mea_Mark, Carla and R.J. If you decide to adopt a palin, you must remember they are cold blooded creatures, The palin’s and their eggs require a heat-lamp in order to stay warm. Their primary source of food, is ‘human blood’ ‘live rat’s’ and decaying animal carcass… CAUTION: They must be closely supervised, because they have been known to eat their young.
Due to ‘climate change’ they have migrated as far north as Alaska. One of them was mistaken for a republican and got voted into office.
