Obama Approval Rating At 20-Month High

Posted by | December 23, 2014 18:00 | Filed under: Economy Good News Politics Top Stories

An improving economy is driving up President Obama’s approval rating.

More Americans still disapprove of the job Obama is doing as President. But at 48%, Obama’s approval rating is at its highest point in CNN polling since May 2013.

The gains were driven by newfound backing among women, independents and millennials — groups where Obama’s approval numbers jumped 10 percentage points from a month ago.

Meanwhile, Obama’s approval numbers ticked down among men, Republicans and Americans between 35 and 49 years old.

The approval jump follows a late-quarter jolt in Obama’s governing agenda, which gained momentum after unilateral actions on immigration and relations with Cuba. Separate surveys have showed those moves popular among the American people.

Too bad he waited till after the election to take action on immigration.

Yep, I honestly think that would’ve made the difference in keeping the senate blue. But the dems abandoned him for the dumbest of reasons when considering he accomplished so much on many fronts in four years of GOP house of “No” vote control. Add the fact the lazy dem voters and the millenials staying away from the voting booths made November 4 a disaster..

      That was a terrible decision.

Bribing us with a better economy and healthcare to increase his national approval ratings is the mark of the anti-christ.

Licking his wounds after being laughed out of court, again, from a suit brought by his BFF Joe Arpaio.

What’s been hidden from everyone is that Obama is a shape-shifter. One minute, he changes into Marco Rubio and makes a stupid statement on immigration to make himself look good. The next minute, Obama changes into John Boehner and starts whining and crying over himself being a dictator. Later, he changes into Mitch McConnell and spits up his soup all over himself. It’s just fabulous political theater.

You have to watch them Kenyan socialists muslims, they’re tricky like that.

This just has to burn the white apologist GOP, that a black president actually lives up to more than what they all imagined Reagan achieved.

If only Obama and the democrats had grown some balls before the elections.

true, we would have retained the senate

I wonder if any additional reproductive organs would have helped.

Kentucky is a perfect example. Their ACA exchange called Kynect is among the most popular and successful in the country. McConnell’s blatantly false position was that Obamacare could be repealed but Kentucky could keep Kynect.

Personally I doubt that there was anything Democrats could have done to win the votes of people so clueless they believed McConnell or even worse, have no idea at all that Kynect is Obamacare.

Grimes was in a tie until she refused to say who she voted for, right after the second refusal her numbers plummeted by 10 points

Merry Christmas Errant Bolling. Keep up FNC’s good work ensuring GOP TV’s GWB retains record low 17% sitting POTUS approval, and record high sitting 77% disapproval.
