In Washington, thousands of demonstrators at the Justice for All rally joined in solidarity against grand juries which have decided not to indict officers in the chokehold death of Eric Garner in New York and the fatal shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.

Eric Garner’s mother, Gwen Carr, said the march was making history. Trayvon Martin’s mother was there, too. Relatives of Tamir Rice showed up as well.

“You know our son’s not here in body, but he’s here with each and every one of you,” Gwen Carr said.

In New York City:

It's shit like this:

Compare this crowd to Operation American Spring, the rally which promised 30 million protesters to show up and take Obama out of office. The numbers were a bit off by about 30 million. Tens of tea partiers showed up.

One rally is for justice. The other was organized over hurt fee fees because Obama was elected.  One includes all races, the other does not. One is necessary, the other is not.

McCulloch says “inadvertently omitted”…. MY ASS!!! It was deliberate and the Governor or MO. attorney general should remove him from office !!!

what did he “inadvertently omit(ed)” as evidence to the grand jury is what i’d like to know. i bet a hell of a lot. he already had given false instructions regarding the right to shoot a fleeing suspect.

I am certainly glad that the turnout for these demonstrations is thousands-fold greater than the turnout for the protests organized by right wing haters of the President. I think it illustrates how out of the mainstream those right wingers are.

Having said that however, I must also add that anyone in today’s crowds who did not vote last month, is in my opinion, part of the overall problem.

I’m still pissed off at millenials for staying home on election day.

I’m also pissed off at all the Democrats who distanced themselves from the president. If they had unity and brought up the good things Obama has done instead of letting the right dictate the narrative, the results would have been different.

Seems the right consists of chicken hawks and left just of chickens.

I hope these people realize it is a lot easier to vote in every election than to protest all the time. Vote people, vote, every chance you get.

You just have to like that the old flag dude wrapped himself in plastic as if hoping that the face sitting protests were scheduled next on the National Mall.
