Woman Accidentally Fatally Shoots Herself In The Head With Gun Bought To Prepare For Ferguson Unrest
A woman who bought a gun to prepare for possible unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, appears to have accidentally fatally shot herself in the head on Friday night.
The unidentified boyfriend told police that the couple had bought a firearm because of fears of unrest related to the upcoming grand jury decision on Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
According to the boyfriend, as the couple drove late Friday night, the victim waved a gun, jokingly saying they were ready for Ferguson, a source told CNN.
The boyfriend said he ducked to get out of the way of the gun then accidentally rear-ended another car.
The accident caused the gun to go off and she was struck by a bullet in the head, according to the source.
The victim was rushed to a hospital but died.
Police are awaiting gun trace results, as part of the ongoing investigation.
Gun sales have gone up by almost 700% in Ferguson ahead of the Grand Jury decision. Expect more “accidental” shootings.

Ho-hum.. next?…. Can we have the group that has very little knowledge of handling a weapon on one side of the field , those who would clean a weapon with a gun loaded on the other side of the field. We will leave you alone for about 8 hours and then come back to see who is not wounded or killed..Let’s do this all at one time..although it is hilarious to see these stories every day of idiots mishandling weapons.. I would like to see them just get it all out and over with …we only have so many Turkey awards to hand out, and by cutting down the numbers all at once it would make it easier.

seriously, i would have lied about how it happened and just said, i think she was suicidal. how embarrassing can that be? to think she was “protecting” herself from the mean possible protesters, and she ends up needing protection from herself. look at where the paranoia has gotten her.
