Keith Law, one of the best baseball columnists in the business today was suspended by ESPN for arguing on twitter with creationists (including former major leaguer, Curt Schilling.

Schilling, the former pitcher who rejoined ESPN as a baseball analyst in September after eight months away to deal with mouth cancer, took to Twitter on Nov. 12 to rail against evolution and in favor of creationism.

Law jumped in with a series of Tweets—slightly fractious, but fact-based and generally respectful—disputing Schilling’s claims, and those of other Twitter users.

Aah, so Schilling is an I. Q. deficient, non/lazy-thinking dumb shit. So ignorant and feeble-minded. An utter waste of oxygen and real estate and the world’s precious resources.

ESPN has established themselves as a gutless spineless corporation. Suspending Bill Simmons for criticizing Roger Goodell the lying bastard in the Ray Rice sauga…and now this? a respectful debate on spirituality and evolution gets the non-pro athlete suspended while delusional Curt Schilling probably feels justified in his beliefs…sickening what ESPN has become…it’s no longer about revealing the truth but about pandering to big money….
